Late afternoon, I receive another call from Jeffrey. “I have some more information,” he starts, “some good, some not so good.” I’m apprehensive. “Start with the bad bit first. I need to get it over with. Then anything else can only water it down.” “Okay. Zoe said the technicians have finished with your computer and you can have it back.” “That doesn’t sound so bad,” I say, wondering whether to feel relieved. “It’s not.
