“What about the copies you picked up from Gilby?” Ahmed asked.
“I put those in my jacket pocket, but I haven"t been able to see if they"re still there. Will you check for me please? The porter put my clothes in the locker over there.”
“Got your jacket, yes and here"s some papers, yes, they"re still here,” Ahmed confirmed. “What else was in your bag?”
“My bloody mobile battery charger was there too, and the spare battery, the one I bought yesterday. s**t, I"ll need to go through all that again.”
“We can pick them up at the same time as we get the new phones,” Sally suggested. “Have you got any charge left in your battery now?”
“Have a look will you? It should be in my jacket as well.”
“I can"t find it,” Ahmed replied. “Could it be in your trousers or anywhere else?”
