"Dad, can't I pick my assistant myself?" Lucas asked, frustrated. He hates women, especially those with heavy makeup. And this secretary is the full definition of the kind of women he hate.
"What right do you have to choose an assistant yourself? Nora is a professional and she will help you with all you need to know" Mr Wilson said. He has his reasons for making Nora his secretary.
"I heard my intelligent grandson is back, where is he?" Grandpa Wilson excited voice sounded from outside. Nora quickly opened the door for him to come in.
Grandpa Wilson stare at Lucas for a while before hugging him tightly.
What his parents should have done. With that thought, Lucas hugged him back tightly, feeling emotional. This is the only family member he recognize.
"Look at you, you've become thin, your mother should prepare nutritious food for you everyday" Grandpa Wilson said, looking him up and down.
"Grandfather, I just loosed a little bit of flesh, now that I am back, I'll surely not miss any meals again and eat well" Lucas promised.
Grandpa Wilson saw his son standing beside them silently and he quickly scolded him.
"Your son just got back and he looks so thin and you're already asking him to resume work. Simon what kind of a father are you? Is this how I treated you?"
"Dad, we don't have time, that's why I asked him to resume today".
"Whatever. I am coming to have dinner with you all today. Lucas don't stay out late, we have a lot to discuss after dinner" Grandpa Wilson smile at his handsome and intelligent grandson.
Lucas saw his father signalling to him to agree and not say anything else. But he doesn't care and still said what he shouldn't have said.
"We might not be able to talk. I moved out"
"What? Simon is this true?" Grandpa Wilson asked shocked and furious.
"Father, he said he needed his space, so, I let him leave. He is old enough already and he knows what he wants, he doesn't need to stay with us anymore" Mr Wilson explained.
"Don't give me that bullshit. Why will he want to move out quickly after staying outside for 2 years. Simon what did you do again?" Grandpa Wilson asked, trembling with anger.
"Father, I didn't do anything, it is what he want, it is his choice" Mr Wilson tried to explain, frustrated.
"If it was that small singer, you will definitely react and object to it. I am sure you didn't even try to stop him" Grandpa Wilson doesn't like how Lucas is being treated. Infact, he should be treated like a king, because given Lucas capability, others are bound to serve him like a king and not the other way round. He doesn't understand why they cherish that little singer who is just a good for nothing spendthrift.
"Dad, I am not taking sides, if Dave wants to move out too, I have no objection"Mr Wilson said, though he knew he would surely object to it. The old man's next sentence shocked him.
"Then let him move out too!"
"Father what are you saying? I can't just ask him to move out and Dave is still very young and doesn't know how to face the world yet" Mr Wilson complained.
"If Lucas doesn't live there, Dave shouldn't live there too. That's final!" Grandpa Wilson said and walked out angrily.
Mr Wilson glared at Lucas angrily.
"You bastard! You still said that after I warned you. Do you even see me as your father?"
Do you also see me as your son? Lucas wanted to ask, but he kept quiet and allowed his father to curse him and vent his anger.
"You better come back home today. You should stay at home and eat well instead of living outside. You just got back, so, come back home and spend time with us".
Of course Lucas knows he only want him to move in back with them so that Dave won't have to move out too.
"I don't want to"
