"Big brother you finally picked my call!" A tiny voice sounded from the other end of the line which irritated Lucas. "I'm busy, what do you want?" Lucas asked. "I heard you're back in the country, I'll also be back soon. How about going out for a drink when I get back?" She suggested. "I'm sorry, I don't have any free time" Lucas said, not interested in having any conversation with her. "Can't you just make time for me? I really want to see you" The babyish voice sounded again. "I can't. I am busy, I have to go now" Lucas hung out and turned off his phone, it's better that way, he needs some quiet time. ____________________________ Isabel walked into her mother's room, she has decided to tell her about her moving out of the house to give them space and allow them to spend quality time together. "Isabella, you're here" Mark said with a smile, starring at Isabel's fair slender legs and her pointed breast. She didn't know Mark would be here if she knew, she would have worn something else, she felt uncomfortable under Mark's dirty gaze. "Where is my mother?" She asked, impatient. "She went to see a friend" Mark said, licking his lips seductively. Isabel quickly walked to the door, but was stopped by Mark. "Isabella, I hope you're not against my marriage with your mother" Mark asked, moving close to her. "No, no. I am not" Isabella said moving to the back, scared. Mark grabbed her all of a sudden and pinned her to the wall. "What are you doing? Let go of me now!" Isabel shouted, panicking. She can't just let this despicable man ruin her innocence. Isabel tried all she can to resist his touch and finally pushed him away, she didn't even look at him before she running out. She rushed into her room and locked the door. She stayed in her room for some minutes, before she finally heard a knock on her door and her mother's voice. She happily opened the door, and a hot slap landed on her face. "You ungrateful child. You should have just said you don't want me to marry him instead of seducing him and threatening him. Do you not want to see me happy at all?" Linda asked angrily. "Mom, what are you saying? I am the victim here, this man almost raped me and you're scolding me instead" Isabel complained, feeling aggrieved. Linda looked at her daughter in disbelief, she couldn't believe her daughter has changed overnight just because she doesn't want her to remarry. "Get out of my house now!" Linda shouted angrily. "So, you choose to believe the lies he told you. Mum, can't you see my appearance? I was almost raped by your husband-to-be. Why do you choose to believe the words of a stranger instead of your daughter?" Isabel asked, almost in tears. "You still dare to accuse him and lie to me?" Linda asked, furious. "Mum, it's the truth. If you want me to leave, I will. I won't disturb you anymore, and I won't come for your wedding too. I hope it won't be too late before you see his true colour" Isabel walked into her room and packed few things before walking out of the house.
