CHAPTER N10 LET'S GO FOR A DRINK TONIGHT

Isabel woke up the following day, with her head banging. it's definitely the effect of the alcohol.
She yawned loudly and suddenly realized she is in her hotel room. The last thing she remember is drinking at the bar and talking with Lucas. So, how did she get to her room?
Did he bring her here??
She checked herself and it didn't look like he violated her and her clothes were still on.
Her phone vibrated and she saw lots of missed calls. 15 from her mother, 2 from Wendy, 5 from Leo and 3 from her father.
"s**t!" She suddenly realized she is suppose to resume to work today, that must be the reason her father called her.
And her mother probably called her for the car key and Wendy and Leo, to hang out or check up on her.
She checked the time, it was 2pm already.
How could she sleep for that long??
She quickly called her father and apologized.

Dave barged into Lucas's office with Nora following behind.
"I'm sorry sir. I tried to stop him"
Lucas dismissed Nora with his hand and she immediately walked out, leaving the two brothers alone.
"Big brother you're really enjoying. You have this big office to yourself, you now have the power of the richest man in the country and you have a beautiful secretary. Brother, I am jealous" Dave said, looking round the office.
"If you have nothing important to say, leave. I am very busy and I don't have time to entertain your nonsense" Lucas said with a cold face.
"Relax. You're so scary. This is our first meeting after 2 years and this is how you want to treat your own blood brother?" Dave can't wait to have the power Lucas has now.
Lucas just ignored him and continue working.
"Brother lets go out for a drink tonight. My treat" Dave offered, with malicious intent.
"I don't have time for a drink. But if I am free I'll let you know" Lucas said.
"Brother, stop being like that. You always reject my offer. Do you hate me that much? I just want to have a good time with my brother. Is that too much to ask for?" Dave suddenly became angry.
Lucas knew he was up to no good but still played along.
"Fine"
Dave danced happily.
"Thank you so much brother. I heard you're staying at Four Seasons Hotel. We can drink at the bar there"
"Okay"
"I won't disturb your work, so I'll leave now" Dave walked out excitedly.

Mr Hills looked round the house. It looks a bit different. Looks like they are changing the styles and decorations already.
"Madam will be here soon" Hannah, the old nanny and house keeper said.
After a while, Linda walked down with Mark, holding each other's hands.
"Carl, what a surprise visit" Linda said.
"Isabel isn't home" Linda added.
"I am not here for Isabel. I am here for you" Mr Hills said. He glanced at the despicable man who almost raped his daughter.
"I guess this is the new one. Linda you're really a strong woman, you don't get tired, do you?" Mr Hills mocked her.
"I am surprised you don't even have good taste anymore. So, if this one doesn't work out too, you'll find a new one." He insulted her, both angry and disappointed.
"Carl watch your mouth!"
Linda was fuming. But Mr Hills doesn't care about her feelings.
"I am here to warn you. You better not let your play thing go near my daughter. Or even let your promiscuous life affect her in any way. If possible let her be" Mr Hills warned.
Lucy walked out and met the living room silent, with a stranger's angry glare.
"Mum what's going on?" Lucy asked.
Mr Hills suddenly realized something.
"You, how dare you touch my daughter's things? Who gave you the right to wear her things and use her necklace?" Mr Hills angrily pulled the necklace on Lucy's neck.
His mother bought the necklace for Isabel on her last birthday before she died and he knows how much Isabel cherish the necklace.
He looked at Linda in disbelief.
"You've lost your mind. And you, I want you to return everything you've taken from her room. If she complain to me that anything is missing, I'll get you arrested for theft. Don't dare me!" Mr Hills was so angry. Only he knows how much he is preventing himself from slapping Lucy hard.
"Mum, what is going on?" Lucy pretended to be scared and hurt and ran to Linda's side.
"You said I can take anything I want. You said my sister won't mind and what is my sister's own is also mine"
Mr Hills became even more angry and called the old nanny.
"I want everything that has been taken in Isabel's room returned. I mean every single thing, even if it is a pin or a sheet of paper, and lock her room and keep the keep till she comes. No one should touch her belongings, and even her cars" Mr Hills ordered.
"You can't be giving orders in my house" Linda shouted angrily. She doesn't understand why he is acting unreasonable.
"This is my house too. Remember I left this house for my daughter and not you and I can decide to send you all out. Linda remember our agreement or I'll strip you off your position and you'll be left with nothing" Mr Hills threatened.
Linda quickly held Lucy's hand and tried to convince her.
"Lucy dear, just go and return everything. You don't need any of it. Let's just go shopping and I'll get you everything you need. Things that are even more expensive".
Lucy had no other choice than to obediently nod and accept.
"And since my daughter isn't staying here, I won't be sending any monthly allowance. So, don't expect anything from me" Mr Hills said, shocking Linda.
