"You shouldn't be out here by yourself in the cold." I shivered slightly as I heard his voice. He came and stood next to me, his hands in his pockets as I tightened the grip on my arms. I looked away from him damning my heart for pounding so damn fast. "You're going to get sick."
"Who cares." I said low.
"I do."
I laughed trying to hide my disappointment and love for him.
"Once upon a time maybe." I turned to go back into the house when his hand shot out and grasped my wrist. I was jerked to a stop as I looked back at him.
"Why have you been avoiding me?" He asked looking right at me.
"I thought that was pretty obvious." I said low.
