Sociopathic Car Ride

Sarah’s POV As she dragged Seth by the arm to her little Mercedes-Benz, Sarah's mind was racing. She needed to come up with a plan to win Denton back. She couldn't bear the thought of living without him and the wealth his family has. After her son Seth had brutally attacked EJ, She couldn't believe that her son had turned out to be such a violent and disturbed person. "I am absolutely disgusted by you, Seth. What kind of twisted, evil person are you? You deliberately stir up trouble between your father and his new family, and now you're wreaking havoc between me and Denton. Your father didn't even want shared custody when we divorced, and he doesn't even bother to attend your football games. And when I finally find a decent man, who happens to be part of the Miller family with their immense wealth, you have to ruin everything. And don't even try to defend yourself, Seth. You know full well that your father and I constantly fight because of you. But it doesn't matter now, because I've found someone who can actually take care of us. Your father and your grandfather are both useless, with one on his deathbed and the other barely willing to provide for us. They're both failures in every sense of the word." Seth snarls, his voice dripping with venom, "I despise their entire family, Mom. I loathe the fact that Ej has the luxury of both parents and a lavish lifestyle. The only one worth being around was Jason, because at least he was funny and didn't judge me for wanting to hang out with him." Sarah interjects with a cold tone, "Well, Seth Denton had the means to support us." "But Mom," Seth seethes, "if you had married him, that would've meant I had to work on that damn ranch. I hate it there, I hate the animals. It's all so stupid." Sarah's voice turns sharp, "Well, I don't like it either. But if you want to succeed in life without any effort, you marry someone who's loaded. Why do you think I married your father? I didn't love him. He was old and already successful when we got together." "And Denton," she sneers, "he comes from generations of money, built off the backs of their so-called 'hard labor'. His family is one of the wealthiest in Wyoming. And Denton himself is younger and more attractive than your father ever was. I would've never landed someone like that, so I had to settle for the Miller." Listen to me, you little brat. Have you even grasped the power and influence that The Miller family holds? And you, with your despicable actions, have managed to ruin it all. But don't worry, I have a plan for you. You're going to therapy, whether you like it or not. And when you go, I'll make sure you end up in a fancy private school. Your pathetic excuse of a father may not want to pay for it, but he'll damn well pay for your therapy, because you'll be living with him. And let's be clear, he doesn't want you anywhere near your half sister or stepmom. Because Denton will see that I’m seeking help for you. and that’s one step in the direction of getting them back on my good races. Seth filling in raged hits the dashboard with his fist turns to look at his mother, “Don't you dare try to defend yourself, you're just as much a problem as I am. And what about that weird Lady who's always hanging around at the Millers'? She threw me off of EJ and I have physical pain Mom and you're whining about how it hurt? Because Denton broke up with you “Pathetic. Stop exaggerating, Seth, I'm handling it. I'll make a call to your grandfather and make it clear that denton and I are temporarily broken up. It”ll only complicate things and cause more issues. If he continues to work with the Miller family right now. Then I'll talk to your father. . As for Anna I'll use every trick in the book to convince your father to help us. I'll tell him that they are harboring, a criminal who also stole Denton and me. And Cater knows about it and won’t do anything. will be the icing on the cake. I'm sure your spineless father will fall for it. He may be a successful lawyer, but he's nothing but a fool when it comes to helping me, see Son, Sam Thorne is still in love with your mother and I’ve got him wrapped around my finger doesn’t matter if he’s happily married and has a child with his new wife I can still control him cause I’m just that good” Now put your damn seatbelt on Seth and shut up the rest of the way back to your grandfather's house. I’ve had enough of this. I don't want to hear it," Sarah snapped, her voice dripping with anger and annoyance. Seth, always the conniving one, couldn't help but complain. "Whatever Mom, all this is just a bunch of crap anyway. Why couldn't you just dated Jason?" Sarah's tone turned icy as she shot back, "For one thing, he's like 22 and very immature. And let's not forget, he's broke and living in a trailer on the ranch. His cousins are the ones with the money, not him." But Seth,, continued to push. "Yeah, well you don't know that. And he's like a cooler brother that I never got to have." Sarah's lip curled in disgust. "Speaking of Jason, Seth, did you really film him when he was in his bedroom with Brooke, doing things in private?" Seth, ever the psycho, shrugged nonchalantly. "Mom, I'm 12. It's called having s*x in the Brooks' hot tub. So why not?" Sarah's anger boiled over. "It's wrong, Seth. That's why. And don't you dare talk back to me like that." But Seth, just rolled his eyes at his mother in irritation. He put his baseball cap over his face and settled in for a nap, completely disregarding his mother's words. Sarah let out an exasperated sigh, knowing she still had a good 40 minutes of driving to her father's house with her difficult son in tow.
