HE WILL BE HIS WEAKNESS !!

MATTEO.. My phone rang before my alarm. The sound sliced through the quiet of dawn, sharp and intrusive. For a second, I thought I was still dreaming. I reached for it lazily. “Hello…” “Good morning.” Sleep vanished instantly. I sat upright in bed. That voice. Calm. Controlled. Infuriatingly steady. “Who is this?” I asked, though I already knew. A pause. Almost amused. “I’ll be at your workplace to take you for lunch.” My fingers tightened around the phone. “Luca.” Silence confirmed it. “I’m not going anywhere with you,” I said firmly. Stay away from me!! Another pause. Then, smooth as ever “See you later.” The call ended. I stared at the screen like it had personally betrayed me. Why can’t he leave me alone? It was just one night. One mistake. One moment of weakness I shouldn’t have allowed. People don’t behave like this after a one-night stand. They don’t track you. They don’t call at sunrise like they own the day. My chest felt tight. Restless. I got out of bed and began pacing. What if he actually comes? What if he makes a scene? This is my workplace. My reputation. My life. He can’t just walk into it. I ran a hand over my face. Why does he feel so certain? Why does he speak like it’s already decided? By the time I dressed for work, I was exhausted and the day hadn’t even started. On my way to the office, I kept checking the mirrors. Every black vehicle behind me made my heart jump. This is ridiculous. You’re imagining things. Still, the unease stayed. At the office, I tried to act normal. Sophia noticed immediately. “You look like you didn’t sleep.” “I slept,” I lied. Sonia leaned on my desk. “Are you sure? You look tense.” “I’m fine,” I insisted. “Just work pressure.” They exchanged a look but didn’t push further. Once inside my office, I closed the door and leaned against it. The room suddenly felt smaller. He said he would come. What if he does? I walked to the window and looked down at the street below. Normal traffic. Normal people. Normal day. Yet my pulse refused to settle. I sat down, opened files, signed documents but my mind wasn’t there. It was replaying his voice. See you later. Why does that sound like a promise instead of a threat? I hated how unsettled he made me feel. I hated that part of me was curious. And that terrified me more than anything. LUCA I lowered the phone slowly after the call ended. He hung up on me. Again. A faint smile tugged at my lips. Stubborn. Dan stood nearby, waiting. “Yes, sir?” “Arrange the boys,” I said calmly. He straightened. “For today?” “Yes.” He didn’t question further. “We’re going to his office,” I added. Dan nodded. “Understood.” I adjusted my watch, thinking. “Be on guard. I don’t want anything to happen to him.” Dan’s eyes flickered slightly. He understood the weight behind that order. “Yes, sir.” I walked toward the window, looking over the city. Andrew has been quiet. Too quiet. And quiet men are the most dangerous. If Andrew even suspects I have an interest My jaw tightened slightly. Matteo is not part of this world. He doesn’t understand the lines drawn in blood beneath this city. And I intend to keep it that way. For now. SOMEWHERE DEEP IN THE CITY.. The room was dim, heavy with tension and cigarette smoke. Andrew sat at the head of the table, fingers steepled beneath his chin. “So,” he said quietly. “They confirmed it?” “Yes, sir,” one of his men replied. “The warehouse attack failed. Luca executed the captured boy.” Andrew’s eyes darkened. “So he dares kill my men.” The room fell silent. Andrew didn’t raise his voice. He didn’t need to. Anger, when controlled, is more dangerous. “I will make him pay,” he said calmly. Another man stepped forward cautiously. “Sir… there’s something else.” Andrew looked at him. “What.” The man swallowed. “Our surveillance team has been tracking Luca’s movements.” Andrew’s expression didn’t change. “And?” “There’s… an anomaly.” Andrew leaned back slightly. “Explain.” “He’s been monitoring someone.” Silence. “A civilian,” the man continued. “A young businessman. Clean background. No ties to us. No ties to the underground.” Andrew’s fingers stopped moving. “A civilian?” he repeated softly. “Yes, sir.” Name. “Matteo.” Andrew rolled the name over slowly. “Matteo!!!” “He’s been watched closely,” the man added. “Phone traced. Residence monitored. Movements tracked.” Andrew’s eyes sharpened. “For how long?” “Since last week, sir.” Interesting Very interesting Andrew stood up slowly and walked toward the large window overlooking the dark city. “Luca,” he murmured to himself. “You arrogant bastard.” He never gets emotionally involved. Never. He’s cold. Strategic. Untouchable Or so everyone believed Andrew’s lips slowly curved into a smile. “Is he important?” he asked without turning. The man hesitated “Sir… based on the resources used to monitor him… yes.” Andrew laughed. Low. Satisfied. “So,” he said softly, “Luca is interested in someone.” The room felt colder. The men exchanged uneasy glances. Andrew turned back to them, eyes gleaming. “Find out everything about this Matteo.” “Yes, sir.” Sir according to our finding I think they will be at Zain main restaurant for lunch Andrew’s smile widened. Nice this is a good opportunity to get our revenge Arrange few boys We will pay them a visit. Yes sir!! “Let’s see how strong Luca really is… when something he wants is on the line.” His fingers tapped once against the table. “A weakness,” he murmured.
