Day Twenty The Bombshell

This morning the islanders had an important topic to discuss, eggs. Matt, Tyler, Hayden, George, Tyrone, Chris and I were in the kitchen. "Egg Benedict is the best egg dish," Hayden told us. "No way, dippy egg is the best. Yours is just an overrated egg that you dip into. Mine is classic, cut your bread into little soldiers and watch them sacrifice themselves into the mighty yolk" George explained. "Aw your so cute George" Tyler laughed. Tyler and Tyrone sandwiched George with a hug. "Can someone make me dippy eggs please" He asked cutely. "How could I say no to that face?" Tyrone giggled looking up at him. "Who else wants eggs?". "I prefer mine fried please. Don't worry George there's still room on a fried egg to send the troops in" I laughed. "Ok I'll allow a fried egg" he smiled. "I prefer fried too" Tyler agreed. "Love an omelette" Chris called. "Nah, fried is best," Matt told us. "I like scrambled" Tyrone replied. 

As Tyrone and Chris started to make breakfast, other islanders started to gather around the patio table ready to eat. Charlie was placing cutlery around the table in an overly positive mood as usual. "I love the vibes today, everyone seems jolly" he cheered. "I know, drama free. Just what I've been waiting for" Matt sighed as he sat back in his chair relaxing. "Who are those figures in the distance coming off the beach?" Sean asked as he squints his eyes looking out to the beach. Everyone turned to the beach and looked out ahead. "Oh my god! Newbies!" Charlie cheered. "Oh are they tops?" Tyler asked. "No definitely bottoms" George replied as everyone started to head over in their bed wear to meet the newbies near the pool. 

A boy stood in front of us in a pair of tight red trunks and white flip flops. He was black, with short black hair, green eyes and a slim figure with v lines. "Hey queens! I'm Edward but Ed is fine. Quick intro, I live in London but my family is from Trinidad and Tobago but we're are on the Trinidad side and I am Team bottom" he announced confidently. 

Edward seemed like a sassy person, I wondered if he was going to cause drama and become a trouble maker in the villa? 

The next boy stood next to him, he had a complete sleeve tattoo on his left arm, medium length blonde hair, blue eyes and a chiselled body. His abs were very prominent, his arms looked small but defined. "Good morning, I'm Ryan. I'm from Chelsea, I'm a model and also team bottom" he smiled. 

Ryan spoke with a very British accent, he was well-spoken and seemed to have an elegant stance. I wondered if he would be competition for me?

"Hey I'm Matt" Matt called as he stepped closer to Ryan and winked at him. "And I'm Grant, pleasure to meet you" Grant interrupted. "Welcome both of you" George called. "This is a nice warm welcome," Ed told us seeming pleased. "We're happy to have you join us" Chris smiled as Ed looked at him with a hungry face. "Wow, you are much hotter in person". Ed stepped closer as ran his finger over Chris's jaw, "I love a strong jawline on a man" he winked. Chris said nothing, he looked a little hot under the collar from the flirtatious comment made towards him.  Once he came back down to Earth he winked as a response. I sigh as I stand in the background watching Ed flirt with Chris and Matt fight for Ryan's attention. 

I needed to say something, since Ryan was getting more attention I decided to break through the tops and free him from the flies. "Hey I'm Jake" I called, as I stood in front of the tops pushing them back behind me. "I know who you are silly. You are one of the islanders no one could forget. Everyone knows who you are" Ryan chuckled cutely. "Really? Well you know how it is, you need to make yourself known and have your place" I replied sassily. "You are correct, I agree. You need to grab the bull by the horns or as they say in here grab the boy by the boxers" he winked at me. "Oh f**k" Hayden gasped, seeming impressed as Grant and Matt nodded in agreement, staring at Ryan. I rolled my eyes at the tops as Ryan continued, "your always so nice Jake, you have good fashion sense. I'm the same, we both need to dress to impress all the time". "Thank you, babe. That's so kind" I smiled. "I guess you'll want a tour," George asked. "You can have a tour of me if you like?" Grant winked. "Please, he wants a real man, you can tour me" Hayden replied as he flexed his arm. I turned and looked unimpressed with the flies. "You're not at all subtle are you?" Tyler asked as he crossed his arms. "Oh let them get on with it. They can look but not touch" Colin replied calmly. 

Everyone soon returned to breakfast and Charlie set up two new seats for the newbies to sit on. As we sat down Tyrone asked the questions, all the bottoms wanted to know. "So boys, what's your deal? Here to meet the one, play the game, stir up trouble, cause drama?". Ed turns to Ryan for a moment and then speaks, "well it's a bit awkward when the tops are right at this table" Ed sighed. "Yes, one shouldn't discuss all matters with everyone. We need to be slightly discreet" Ryan replied. "Besides, there is more to us than the tops we fancy," Ed told us. "I'm sure there is, what are your stories?" Chris asked. "Well, I work in the fashion industry in design. So I attend a lot of fashion shows and get creative" Ed told us. "Oh my god, you must know lots of famous people!" Charlie said excitingly. "I do know a couple" Ed laughed. "And yourself Ryan?" Chris asked. "Well I am a model, not runway but I would like to get into that. I mainly do the standard fashion shoots and I've done a few swimwear too" Ryan explained. "So what are both your types?" Matt asked. "You can just say me, Matt, I won't be embarrassed" Ryan giggled. Tyler gave a fake laugh,  "no hun I'm embarrassed for you, with that remark". "I like well-groomed men usually. I'm not usually into men with lots of tattoos, piercings, beards and so on" Ed told us. "What about you Ryan?" Samuel asked. "I don't have a type of guy. I've dated many different types. For me I prefer a man who has manners, treats me well, chilled, drama free, romantic gestures mean a lot too" Ryan explained. 

Breakfast continues and everyone gets to know the newbies a little more with small talk and general questions. I noticed that the tops seemed very interested in the new meat on the market. 

I felt after breakfast it was best to speak to Chris who seemed to be interested in Ed. I took him outside as people started to disperse and do their own thing. "Well, someone seems happy". "Well two newbie bottom boys are on the market, what isn't to love about that" Chris smiled. "Your so obvious Chris" I sighed. "I'm just being friendly". "So what do you think of them? You seemed to hit it off with Ed". "He's great but he's not you" he smiled as he rubbed my shoulder and wondered off to rejoin the newbies with a small group of tops. I think it was fair to say the romance between Chris and I was dying. 

However, as people began settling and doing their own thing, Ryan received a text and announced it to everyone.

Ryan and Ed, you both have some catching up to do. Pick your two favourite tops and take them on separate first dates.

"Well, this is easy for me. I choose Chris and Sam" Ed announced confidently. "I would like to ask Hayden and Matt". "Oh great so one takes my current partner and the other takes a previous partner that I have major history with" I said quietly to Tyler. 

I sighed, but I walked to the dressing room with the rest of the bottoms. Colin came and put a protective arm around me and spoke quietly, "I can't believe Ed chose Chris. How you feeling?". I didn't speak, but instead pulled an uncertain face. I think Colin realised that I felt uncomfortable but whether I like it or not I couldn't change who the boys were taking on their dates.

I zoned out from the conversation taking place in the room, getting changed into my swimwear and leaving afterwards. I walked out onto the grass and bent over to arrange the pillows on the day bed. I heard someone whistle and clap from behind. As I turned around I saw the tops looking at me, Chris came rushing over. "You are looking great today Jake but perhaps bending over in front of the guys is not the best idea". I giggle and reply, "jealous?". "Well when Matt, George and Grant stare at you and Hayden whistles the answer is yes. You do look good though, I wish I wasn't going off now". "Guess you'll have to hurry back from your date then" I smile as I climb onto the bed and laid down. 

I watched Chris and Sam greet Ed, soon after Matt and Hayden greet Ryan. Sean looked wary as he stood by not knowing what to do with himself. 

As the six leave the villa together, Tyrone and Sean come and sit with me on the daybed. "Why could he of not picked Sam?" Tyrone sighed. "Sam is going to enjoy this date. Ed is really hot!". Just as Tyrone finished speaking the other bottoms came over and sit with me on the bed. "What is this? Who said you could all invade my bed?" I chuckled. "Because we are your fabulous team and we only have ten more days together," Tyler said sassily. "I know right, so why newbies at this stage?" Tyrone sighed. "Tyrone you know Sam much better than Ed does. Therefore have a better connection" I told him. "I don't want to be controversial but I kinda like them. They seem confident and fun" Colin announced. "Hey, they want our men!" Tyrone snapped. "Come on Tyrone. You know, that everyone knows, Sam is loyal to you" Tyler sighed. "Tyler is right" Charlie agreed. "Changing topic, I want to see George coupled up with someone he genuinely likes. He's only ever had friendship partners, he needs a lover, I wouldn't mind seeing him and Ryan together, they seem like a cute match" Tyler told us. "George is such a nice guy he deserves someone special" he continued. "I think we are missing the fact that Ryan is quite into... Hayden" Colin replied as he slowly turned to Sean. "Yeah.... not going to happen". I was pleased to hear that Ryan fancied Hayden. This allowed me to think that maybe there was a chance he would have a connection with him, after the date and leave Matt alone. 

"He was in the villa for all of five minutes, how can you know that?" Tyrone asked. "I picked up on it as well. But I know Hayden and he is a loyal at heart" Sean replied. "Also he seems really chatty and seems like he enjoys talking about himself. If most of the conversation involves him talking about himself, how will he get to know Hayden? My theory is that Hayden won't be overly interested by the end of the date. He has no game plan". "I think Sean might be right you know. It's just first impressions" Colin agreed. "I am excited for more bottoms. More to add to our little family!" Charlie cheered. "Well, I would like to get to know them before I make a choice on them. I'm not sure how I feel yet" I replied. "I assume a recoupling is happening soon, the new boys will need to couple with someone" Tyrone suggested. "That's true but most of the tops have their eyes on someone and it's us, it would take a lot to change their minds" Colin agreed. 

The boys soon disperse but Colin stays behind to lay by my side on the day bed, "You ok babe? You seem a little off". "It's just every time me and Matt get together we have to split up and then it takes a long time to get back to him. We were happy for a day, Hugo separates us. Long wait until I'm back together with him, we are happy for a another small period of time and then Corey breaks us up. Another long wait whilst I've been away and now a recoupling will happen in the next couple of days but who says I will get Matt? Ryan could pick him first". "Matt only has eyes for you, he has made that more than clear himself, if it wasn't already obvious, but you know how it is when someone new comes into the villa. It's just curiosity over fresh meat. It dies off in a day or two when the novelty wears off. Aren't you worried about Chris, or is there nothing between you both?". "I like Chris and a part of me does have feelings for him but what can I say? I found Matt first. Maybe if Chris was here on day one, things might be different". "Come here" Colin smiled as he pulled me in for a cuddle. "I'm not letting my sexy friend get worked up over some silly tops" he chuckled, giving me a kiss on the forehead. "I can feel the vibe changing in the villa, it's a shame if this new family spirit is ruined. There has been so much drama, it's nice that everyone has started to come together, I don't want that to be lost". "Things get shaken up all the time. Even if things get a little frosty they will warm up again" I replied reassuringly. 

A few hours pass, me and Colin laid together on the beds as the other islanders please themselves around the villa. Everyone was distracted when the others returned home. "Well, it's not the first time I have got semi-naked on a date" Ryan laughed. "Oh mine was better, it was like a Rom-Com movie. Chris didn't stop laughing" Ed laughed. "Well I'm ticklish, what can I say?" Chris replied. Everyone started to gather around the islanders overhearing the conversation, "What's going on guys?" I asked. "We all had a spa date, massages, hot tubs, saunas. It was pretty amazing, to be honest" Matt told the group. "Oh, that's very romantic then?" I sighed seeming awkward. "It was the best spa I've been to. I go regularly to various spas in Chelsea but this was something else" Ryan told us. "I found it more relaxing than romantic" Chris confirmed and Ed agreed with him. 

Chris took me away from the group, Hayden did the same with Sean. I sat with Chris on the daybeds as he took my hand. "The spa was great, really relaxing and a change of scenery from here but if I'm honest I would have preferred to have been there with you. I mean, I was on a date with Ed but honestly I found Ryan more interesting". "Ryan seems lovely" I replied. I continued to make small talk for a while with Chris until We separated to go about the rest of our afternoons. 

At early evening, I decided to get some water from the kitchen. This was when I heard a screech coming from upstairs. Not all the islanders seemed to notice the noise but a few of us came inside to see what the noise was. "Oh my god!" Charlie screeched as myself, Tyler, Hayden and Matt rushed the bedroom. We saw the en-suite bathroom door shut. "What's going on?" I asked. "Not more drama" Hayden sighed. "Shh, let's listen" Tyler whispered as we all rushed to the door, pressing our ears against it. "I can't believe that happened!" Charlie replied loudly. "Be quieter! I don't want this getting spread around. Don't say anything, got it?" Ed said firmly. Just after hearing that, we could hear footsteps from the tiles, "they're coming!" Matt whispered as he stood up straight. "Quick hide!" Tyler whispered in panic. 

Tyler dives under Tyrone's bed, Hayden lays flat under the covers on Tyler's messy bed just having enough time to throw some pillows over the top covering himself up, Matt crawled under Tyler's bed and pulled me over with him. "You know, we could always..." Matt whispered as he pointed down to his crotch. "Really? Now?" I sighed. Suddenly, we see feet coming out from the bathroom. After a few moments the feet move on and walk out the bedroom, everyone started to uncover themselves. "I bet they were talking about the dates," Tyler said as he crawled out from Tyrone's bed. Hayden grumbles and storms out the room seeming very unhappy. He storms past Colin and Tyrone who were walking into the room. "Everything ok guys? We thought we heard something but wasn't sure. Also, Hayden seems upset?" Colin asked. "The noise was Charlie," Tyler told him. "I better go after Hayden," Matt told us as he rushed off out the room. "We think, Ed was telling Charlie about the dates," Tyler told the boys. 

Charlie walked back into the room and seemed shocked to see us. "Hey guys, what's up? Is everything ok?". "Spill the beans, Charlie! We know Ed was chatting to you!" Tyrone said firmly. "Subtle as always Tyrone" Tyler sighed rolling his eyes. "Oh no... well ok I guess I can't lie to you guys" Charlie sighed. "Well, I heard some V.I.F about our new boy Ryan from our new boy Ed". "Excuse me? V.I.F?" Tyler asked looking confused. "Very important information" Charlie giggled. We all looked at each other confused and Colin face palmed himself. "Information starts with an I!" Tyrone snapped. "Oh damn... that's not good" Charlie replied as he seemed to trail off into another world. Sean walked into the room, just as Tyler was trying to retrain Tyrone from smacking Charlie. "No!" Tyler said firmly as he held Tyrone's arms down. "I know... very important facts" Charlie replied seeming impressed with himself. "I am going to kill him if he doesn't get to the point this year" Tyrone replied face-palming himself. "TELL US WHAT HE SAID!" I yelled. "Ok everyone sit down, this is something else," Charlie said as we all sat down on Tyler's bed, Sean also joined us. "Prepare to board the choo choo train to gossip central". "Get on with it!" Tyrone interrupted. "Well, Ed told me that he saw Ryan kissing Hayden". "What!" Sean screeched. "Oh damn, maybe I wasn't meant to tell Sean?" Charlie said seeming confused. "You really do not have a lot of brain capacity do you?" I sighed. "Hayden is my man!" Sean yelled seeming annoyed. "Have you spoken to him since the date?" Tyrone asked. "Not properly. I haven't had much of a chance. What else did Ed say to you, Charlie?". "That Ryan was the one who leaned in first to kiss Hayden". "What!" He screeched. "Yeah, they had separate dates in the spa and they were sat at these tables. Can you believe they were marble? I'd love a marble table" Charlie said excitingly as he trailed off. Tyler snapped his fingers a several times, then spoke, "Charlie, Charlie, back to Earth now babe". "Oh yes! And Ryan leans over his table to kiss Hayden". "I'm speaking to Ryan about this! I might punch him too while I'm at it!" Sean replied as he stormed out of the bedroom. "Well done Charlie! How could you tell Sean like that in front of all of us!" Colin snapped. "How humiliating that is for him!" Tyrone snapped. "Well, he had the right to know" Charlie replied. "I'll go find Sean" I sighed as I got up to rush out the bedroom. "Come on, let's all go find Sean before things get out of hand" Tyrone sighed, everyone then got up and followed me out the bedroom. 

We chased after Sean who was entering the living room with Ed, Ryan, Grant, Chris and George. "We need a chat" Sean called in a somewhat calm tone. "That's our cue to leave," Grant said getting up quickly. "No the guys should stay, they may know things" Tyler pointed out. "Don't get me involved" Chris replied. "What are they meant to know Charlie?" Ed asked seeming annoyed. Charlie stayed silent looking away. "He told us what you said!" Tyrone snapped. "I'm confused?" Ryan replied looking at Ed. "Oh my god, you b***h! I thought I could trust you!" Ed yelled looking at Charlie whilst standing from his seat. "Look, you can trust me but I thought he had the right to know" Charlie explained. "Not everyone!". "I haven't told the guys just the boys" Charlie sighed. "That's not the point!". "Enough of the crap, Ryan did you or did you not do it?" Sean asked. "What? I don't understand what is going on?". "Don't play innocent! You know what you've done!". "Basically, word around the villa, is that you kissed Hayden on your date" I politely interrupted. "Oh my word? No! That didn't happen?" Ryan replied seeming shocked. Everyone paused for a moment, "I didn't honestly!" Ryan cried. "So your going to deny you kissed him?" Sean asked. "Nice one Hayden, Ryan is smoking hot" Grant smirked. "It's true, Ryan is attractive. He's so smooth" Chris laughed, as I gave him a blank facial expression. "But I didn't! I wouldn't!" Ryan cried. "You two can piss off, he's my man and I'm not going to have someone come between us!" Sean yelled. "To be fair Sean, you've been together for like a couple of days. If Hayden wanted to f**k Ryan what's the issue?" Grant replied. "GRANT!" Colin yelled. "Oh I mean, I wouldn't obviously, I only want to f**k you". Collin face palmed himself and didn't respond. "Time is just a number, Grant! Feelings are worth more and ours are strong". "Ok my bad" Grant replied backtracking. "Everyone is saying you kissed Hayden. Well if we are talking details, Ed told Charlie and he told all of us" Tyrone explained. "Ryan, I did see you kiss him" Ed replied looking at Ryan softly. "That's rubbish! I didn't! You can't prove anything!" Ryan snapped. "Maybe its best if Grant, Chris and George leaves" Tyrone suggested. "Why?" George asked. "We can't have you guys stirring the pot and talking to Hayden before we have got all the facts first" Sean explained. "Maybe it's better if we went and got Hayden? Shouldn't he be included?" Chris asked. "No! He can't know until we have the facts!" Sean replied firmly. "Just go guys, there are too many people in this room" Ed agreed. "This all seems silly anyway" Chris sighs as Grant, Chris and George leave the room.

"Back to the issue, Ryan you can't deny it. I saw it happen" Ed said firmly, looking at Ryan. "This is ridiculous! The only time I lent over the table was to sneak a bite of Hayden's lunch. I didn't kiss him in the process" Ryan explains as he leaves the room in a hurry. "Don't you walk away from me!" Sean yelled chasing after him. "Look what you've caused Charlie! Typical you, you always do this! You made it five seconds into your arrival before you dropped the bombshell about Tyler and Matt having a kiss. Look what trouble you caused there!" Ed yelled. "I'm sorry, it just kind of came out" Charlie replied softly. "Your a completely b***h Charlie, nothing but a gossip. That's a horrible trait to have!" Ed yelled. "To be fair, Charlie might have dropped the bomb but aren't you the one that started all this Ed? Charlie only shared the information you gave him" Colin pointed out. "Yeah, hold on a moment. Colin has a point there" Tyler replied staring at Ed. "Hey I only told Charlie, he told half the villa" Ed replied defending himself. Ed stormed out of the room as Charlie rushed after him. "Well, I guess it's safe to say the family vibe in this villa have been killed by Charlie and Ed" Tyrone sighed. "Did Ryan kiss Hayden? It could have been the other way around" Colin asked. "True, we don't really know what Ed saw. He could have seen it in the wrong way" Tyler suggested. "Let's catch up with the others instead of standing here. You guys go after Sean and Ryan I'll go find Ed and Charlie" Tyrone told us as we all left the room. 

The three of us found Sean and Ryan sitting by the daybeds in the dark of the evening. "You've got to tell me what happened from start to finish with all the details," Sean asked in a calmer voice. "It's all a bit strange with this food situation" Tyler interrupted as we walked over. "Ed said he saw you kiss him. That's hard to see without it being true" Sean replied. "It didn't happen". "Then tell us what did". "Nothing. Nothing happened. This is very uncalled for. I know that I didn't kiss him. Honestly I'm hurt and offended that you guys would think that I would do something like that. You might not know me that well but I thought on first impressions you could see I was someone with a little respect and class". "Doesn't mean you didn't kiss him whatever our first impressions were" Sean replied. "It didn't happen. I promise". "Maybe he's telling the truth?" I asked. "I wish, but a lot of criminals will deny their crimes even after the judge and jury reach a guilty verdict," Colin told me. "Maybe you could ask Hayden. Whether they kissed or not, Hayden is involved, in case people are forgetting" I suggested. "I already said I don't want to speak to him until I know the facts. I need some alone time I think" Sean responded as he got up and walked away with Ryan heading in the opposite direction. "I'll go find the others" I called as I walked off to meet up with Tyrone, Charlie and Ed by the fire pit.

Charlie looked upset, Ed seemed awkward and Tyrone seemed to be holding it together. "Look you two can't be arguing with the drama is taking place with Sean and Ryan. Can you both just be civil at least or just make up" Tyrone asked. "Maybe the best thing you could have done Ed, was to speak to Sean yourself rather than Charlie. He might have been wrong for how this all came out but you could have changed the outcome yourself" I said diplomatically. "I'm with Jake" Tyrone agreed as Ed seemed unhappy with me from not taking his side. "Maybe" Ed replied as he walked off on his own. 

The villa was becoming divided, the tension didn't end for the rest of the evening. We didn't even have dinner together. Most of us got an early night from the drama, a new bed was provided for the newbies to share on the window side of the bedroom. Though Ryan and Ed didn't seem to want to share it. That was another drama in itself, which one of them could have the bed. Ryan ended up giving up on the fight and left to sleep downstairs on the sofa. I simply climbed into my bed with Chris and tried my best to ignore the war zone surrounding me.
