Black Swordsmen

508 Words
In the northern reaches of the world, beyond the Black Mountains, there rise the jagged peaks known as the Black Wall. For centuries, these mountains have stood as a barrier, separating the seven kingdoms from the treacherous wilderness beyond. But hidden within these mountains live the Black Swordsmen, an ancient order whose existence is cloaked in legend. No one ventures into their lands, and no one returns from them. The Swordsmen sing of a prophecy—a song as old as the mountains themselves. They wait for the one who bears the Mark of D, the one who will unite them, and lead them in a final battle against the forces of darkness. And now, the time has come. Prophecy of the Marked One Three shall bear the mark unseen, In shadow’s grip and moonlit sheen. One to rise from ancient line, With power sealed in runic sign. One shall turn the tide of fate, When hope is lost, and filled with hate. In darkest hour, when kingdoms fall, The Marked shall heed the ancient call. From mountains high to oceans deep, The winds of change shall never sleep. In fire’s forge and iron’s might, The world shall twist from day to night. But fear not, lands of shattered grace, For peace shall come in marked embrace. The storm shall pass, the war shall cease, The Mark of D shall bring release. Nine realms shall bow, their chains unbound, When truth is found, and light is crowned. For in his hands, the balance lies, The Marked One’s path will clear the skies. So heed the words, and watch the stars, The time is near, the end of scars. For he who bears this sign unknown, Shall turn the world and claim the throne. The Incident In the year 680 AD (After Dragon Age), a significant event occurred when light was 8 years old: Hope D. Morgan, the White Hunter, was publicly executed in the Kingdom of Lions. His death shocked the world, as he had been a close friend of the King. The people were told he had killed his best friend, Edward III, in a bid to become the King of the Seven Kingdoms after his heroic victory against the White Dragneal. The North mourned his loss, and the next day, they sought revenge against the Kingdom of Lions. Mysteriously, they lost the war and were enslaved by the Lions, who began to rule over five kingdoms. Driven by power, the young King of Lions sought to find and kill the last Dragonborn so he could rule the Seven Kingdoms. But this is not where the story ends—it is where it begins. For in this world where the magic of Elves, the strength of Giants, and the might of Dragons failed to conquer, a single piece of metal—gold—came closer than any to ruling the Seven Kingdoms. Yet, the true tale lies in the hands of one man, who carries the hope of freeing all the kingdoms from cruelty, tyranny, and injustice
