Damien caressed Amelia's hair softly, he loved the sound of her beating heart, loved the heat from her body, loved the pulsations that came from blood moving easily in her system and her organs. He loved that she was soft and delicate, but strong and fierce. She was just perfect for him.
He knew going away to Barcelona meant nothing to his family, they didn't have to follow him to know where he was, but the move he made was letting them know that he was on to them and they should back off.
A call came in through the intercom and he was informed that they would land soon, "Amelia," he called softly and rubbed her arm gently.
She gave a small purr and stirred awake, her eyes looked up at him and she gave a small smile, "Are we there already?" She let out in a sleepy haze.
