As Rekka looked down at Mary and the others, inside his mind, he was praying that these idiots take the easy route and come under him even if to be in jail. He wanted to keep them alive, in the future, if their master did show up and is stronger than Rekka… which is certainly possible. He wanted to at least know to what extent that could be… these individuals were loyal for their master sure… but even he knew that with enough bait he could get info from them.
