(I hate myself right now. I FORGOT MY OWN RULES! I FORGOT TO REWRITE THIS AFTER THE EPILOGUE! I'm so sorry, guys!) -.-.-.-.-.-.- Part 2: Perfect You're broken, Let me try to make it better, Glue you back together, Just give me a try. Pretty, pretty please, Don't you ever feel Like you're less than perfect, If you stay with me, I won't ever make you feel, Any less than freaking perfect. -.-.-.-.-.- -.-.-.-.-.- Six: Fairies -.-;-.-.-.- All of Da Fae's creatures are very powerful beings, protecting the broken toys that found their way to Da Fae and we watch over them as they live their lives here. It is our duty to protect our people, but it is also our duty to teach our youths their history. It will be the gateway to that magical past. In this textbook, you will learn of your races' powers, their battles in time, and then stories of each races' legendary heroes from the past of the magical world. Let's begin with the first chapter: This chapter will cover the four classes of fairies and the other beings of the world. First, we have the winter fairy kingdom, they are the most powerful species of fairies. With the Falls, they are the rulers of Da Fae's Fairy Territory and the most beloved fairies. The Winters have control over three elements: Water, ice, and something called Zawal Ice. Zawal Ice, along with the other two, are verily dangerous and very hard to control, however, the power of Zawal Ice is the icy version of fire. The icy fire can only be controlled by a winter fairy because they are one with ice. Their bodies are the only ones that can house the power, within anyone else, it can kill them but within the icy fairies it can be used for striking down evil and making something beautiful. The most common mate for the winters are the fall fairies, but in recent history, the daughters of the kings and queens of the Winter/Fall kingdoms found their mate in the prince of the Spring fairies and the prince of the Water Elves: The winter fairies can be kind and big hearted, but some can go mad with the ice and the ice would freeze their hearts. The only way your heart won't freeze is to be kind to anyone, despite those that are pure evil. Next is the fall fairies, the second most powerful fairies in Da Fae. They have control over: Wood, Water, animals, and the power of Vara Flower. It is the power to grow anything from their hands. It is not quite dangerous as Zawal Ice; however, it can kill anyone that threatens their loved ones and/or the people of Da Fae. The power would not live within any other fairy bodies, burning them from the inside, but within the bodies of the kind windy fairies; the power can be a beautiful weapon and something to make the world much more beautiful. The most common mate for the falls are the winter fairies, but in recent history, the princesses of the Winter/Fall kingdoms found her mate in the prince of the Spring fairies (see chapter two for the legend of the Sugar Plum Princess and the Beast King): The falls can be either bad or good, but they are usually good-mannered and kind-hearted. However, if you turned bad as a fall, you will be turned into the land of the rats. Bad fairies work as spies for the Rats, turning their back on everything that fairies stand for. Their hearts are as cold as ice so they have no emotions, just feelings of loyal towards the evil kings. Now, the third kingdom is the springs, the third powerful species of fairies in the magical world. Spring fairies can control: Fire, Wind, and emotions. This power is called Aurora; it works as a human mood ring. If a fairy feels something and is close to another, they will make the other feel what they are feeling. This usually just happens on the battlefield, but if an emotion is strong enough to mirror onto the other fairy, they will do so tenfold and the emotion will linger for a week. The most common mate for the springs are the summer fairies, however as stated as before, the prince found his mate in the princess of the Winter/Fall kingdom. The spring fairies are like winter fairies in the matter of their nature. The spring fairies can be kind and big hearted, but some can go mad with the many emotions they can feel and the emotions would harden their hearts. The only way your heart won't harden is to be kind to anyone, despite those that are pure evil. Don't let the emotions get to you, control the powers. Lastly, we have the Summer fairies, the last fairy kingdom in Da Fae. Summer fairies have the power over: Wind, Water, and the power called Azqa Wind. Azwa Wind is very powerful, summers can create a whirlwind-like tunnel and can use a fan to control the wind. It is the most powerful weapon a fairy can have in battle, it can crush enemies under the heavy pressure and/or cut them into two with a single blow. Outside of a summer, the power can be very dangerous, for only summer fairies can control Azwa Wind; if any other fairy tries to harbor the power, the wind will destroy them from the inside, blowing their remains into the sky. The most common mate for the summers is the springs, however, in recent history, the princess of the Eastern Summer Kingdom found her mate outside of the realm of fairies. Her mate was found in the prince of the Elves. Summer fairies are spitfires when anyone messes with them and/or their loved ones, however, they are good-hearted creatures. They just are spicy, just like the season they are born under. Now, we will go through the three other kingdoms in Fae; Weres, Elves, Fates, The Rebels, and the Rats. First, we have the Weres, the protectors of Da Fae. They can turn into any animal, but there are more powerful ones than others. These are the Wolfs, the Bears, the Foxes, and the rarest of the Weres, the Spirit Animals. If you are any Spirits, you are in possession of powers in your animal form; and these powers are over whatever you think of first when you are a child. It can be thoughts or one of the elements, but you have only one power as a Spirit. The most common mate for a Were is another Were, but in recent history, more and more Weres are finding their mates in the other species of Fae. The most common mate for a Were is normally another Were, however, in recent history more and more Weres are finding mates in the other species in Da Fae. In fact, there is another famous legend that many say is about The Rat King finding love after the Sugar Plum Princess cursed him. This rumored legend is dubbed Soria of Sezt und Aest (Sun of West and East). It might be just a rumor, but is there truth in this legend? The Weres are good-hearted, but there are the Rouges who refuse their birthright of the Protectors and became the guards of the Rats, grinning their grins of betrayal. The Protectors and the Rouges are mortal enemies, for the Protectors cannot understand why they would want to refuse their right to protect this beautiful magical world they call home. Next, we have the Elves, they are cousin-species to the fairies. Elves are not what you expect, besides the ears, they aren't short and always giddy. In folklore, they are supernatural beings that hold powers and inhuman beauty. The power you hold is dependent on what tribe you are born into; the tribes are: Water, Air, Fire, Earth, and the Royal Tribe who has all four and rules over the other four. The powers are self-explainable, for they can control the elements of the human world. However, you can only control one; if you try to harbor an element outside of your tribe, your body will not be able to handle it and you might lose your life in return. The most common mate for an Elf is another Elf, but for the time in magical history, an Elf from the Royal Tribe found his mate in a Summer fairy princess. This is the first time that an Elf found a mate in a species outside of the tribes and the king and queen are on guard about that. Elves are serious and uptight creatures, but they are also gentle and kind creatures. When they find a friend in someone, their cold attitude starts to melt away into their true nature, the protective and gentle side they are trained to hide for the hidden side is a weapon the Rats can use against them and their loved ones. If they hide their true selves to the world besides their loved ones, the world and the ones they want to keep safe will be safe because they will be focused on the battle only. Next, we have the Faen version of angels, the Fates. They are like lhElves in their behavior, serious and sober towards the outside world but are warm towards their loved ones, and like angels in their appearances. They are the law in our world and their magical talents mirror that. Meaning that they have endless powers: The powers are this: they have control which paths, side, and how their charges live by. however, you can only control two lives; if you try to control more than the two you are assigned to, the charges and yourself might have to face a horrible fate. A fate is assigned their charges when they turn the age of twenty-one and they stop aging so they could fully help their charge to their best ability, to help them to lead them to a right path. However, that power might run some Fates to reign over their charges with an iron fist, leading them down the wrong path, because that kind of power can drive some people mad. The most common mate for a Fate is endless creatures, however, their mates cannot be just anyone nor can you as a Fate choose who is your mate. You'd think that is a normal thing in mating, because it is love in the magical world, but it is a cruel part about being a Fate. You see, for a Fate, your mate is assigned to you by your own Fate and, whether you're in love with the choose, it does not matter; you are bound to them forever. As we said before, like the Elves, Fates are serious and up-tight creatures, but they are also gentle and kind creatures. When they find a friend in someone, their cold attitude starts to melt away into their true nature, the protective and gentle side they are trained to hide for the hidden side might lead to some horrible situations for both the Fate and the charges. If they hide their true selves to the world besides their loved ones, the world and the ones they want to keep safe will be safe because they will be focused on the battle only. Lastly, we have the most fearful species in Da Fae: The Rats. Rats branched from the species of Weres, but something in their DNA twisted into something terrific. Instead of having the instincts to protect this world, they are driven to rule over it and make it into an ugly, horrible place, also enslaving the other species to do their bidding. The Rats do not have known powers; however, they have the talent to control any weapon they choose and have control over very powerful magic; this is quite dangerous for other species because they never know what spell a Rat would cast, Rats might use a deadly spell to take them out of the world for good or their talented hands might be the end of them. The best-known mate for the Rats is another Rat, but the king has kidnapped many other species to find the perfect mate to breed with. He wants the most powerful heir to gain power over Da Fae, just as his mother had wished. The Rats have no good in their hearts, their DNA has no room for a good streak, but deep inside of some might be a golden heart under all that evil. The Rebels were and are rolled into any group that fights against the good- doer rulers, either for personal beliefs or they hated the recent rule and wanted the power over the magical world under a much darker heart's rule. They will follow the Rat king until the Sugar Plum Princess sends the race back to Saz Eae, Fae for Hell. Then, they will find a new leader for their plan. -.-.-.-.-.- Maria sat in front of the desk with her back hunched over her magical history textbook, the bending started to cause pain so the teen let out a deep groan as she sat up and rubbed her sore eyes. Maybe I should take a break, Maria mused to herself as she moved to the double doors leading to the balcony, eager to feel the gentle wind against her skin after she was cooped up in a hot room studying for hours. Her mind didn't really take in the part about Adam, she didn't want to think he could change his ways after seeing his evil firsthand. But, deep inside of her heart, she wondered if there was truth to that rumor. With one more shake of her head to free herself from that thought, Maria was outside on the balcony, she moved to the railings and laid her arms against the cool marble, pointing her eyes to the star-dotted night sky as her mind wandered back to the past weeks. Her life was changed in a matter of hours, and although she was wonderfully happy about the changes in her life, she was still reeling about them: She was a weak, abused, and lost girl who thought that she would never be something more than that. She thought she would forever be under the power of the monsters, going nowhere, hidden away from the world; they made her feel worthless so she would be easy to control. She never strayed far away from them, thinking she wasn't worth it. Then, after a mere day; everything changed, her life view changed the moment she wheeled into the store with those cookies for uncle Drosselmeier: If she was told days before that she was going to fall in love with a fairy prince and would realize that she was a reborn version of the princess of the Winter fairies, she would have thought they were crazy and run away far from them, never looking back. But now, Maria realized that her life before coming here had made her stronger for the upcoming battle. The evil she had seen as a girl would help her fight against the Rats. She sighed deeply at her thoughts as she moved her hair to the left shoulder, a smile made its way onto her lips. Yes, she thought, I am going to show them what I am made of and they will regret putting my world at risk. She raised one hand in the air and waved it, making an icy arrow for her bow as the smile grew just as a soothing voice brought her back into reality: "You're getting better at that, sweet girl." Her head snapped to the side where Michael was flowing feet from the grassy ground of her home, a grin placed onto his lips. Maria giggled, leaning back against the back of her chair. "I guess I am, but I'm nowhere close to you guys. I'm a little worried about that. I want to be ready for the battle, baby, but I might not be." Maria stated, biting her lower lip nervously, unsure how her mate would react to her sudden confession, seeing that every time she went down on herself, he would tickle her mercilessly until she was confident in her abilities. He sighed sadly as he moved to the balcony's floor and he pulled her into his loving arms, stroking her reddish golden hair. Looks like he wanted to sooth her rather than torture her today, she smiled sweetly into his chest as her arms snaked around his waist: "Sweet, you will be, I'll promise you will be ready. You are already so strong; you just need to learn to control your powers. And you already are practicing so hard, now I'm going to train you and you will be the fairy you were born to be. You will be ready, sweetie." Maria looked up at Michael's face, feeling safe because she knew that his words were rung true. He was going to make sure she was her best self and that she will be the best fairy she needed to be. She will be strong for her world… …. because she was a fairy and they are strong creatures. Maria will teach the Rats that lesson the hard way.
