Desolate

I missed you

  The phone rings, the brunette answers tentatively.

"Hello?"

"We know where you are and we will get you."

Fear floods through Allianna as she hangs up the phone and she drives faster. its been ten years since she had been this way. Flashes of Alamo and how it was before the war pops in to her mind. Alamo was a smallish military town. there was only a two lane highway back then, as Almeda Park and the memory of the day the war here had started...

The military got called to leave completely so the town population dropped to a third of what it should have been. A carnival had come to town. Alli, her husband Lee, and their nephew Jack had decided to go check out the vendors. There was a large tent where the vendors had been placed. As they walked towards the entrance Alli felt on edge, Lee squeezed her hand. She smiled up at Lee, but kept an eye out. As they entered the tent Jack ran forward to look at the new game system. Lee stopped at a knife vendors table. As she wondered around Alli had a growing since of anxiety. Suddenly Mack one of Alli's oldest friends and militia leader showed up.

"You need to get out of here Alli, go now!"

Like he had showed up Mack was gone. As Alli turned around she heard the first explosion. Jack was thrown backward from the table he had been standing at. Alli ran and grabbed his arm she felt Lee beside her as he helped her get their nephew to his feet. The second explosion happend near the entrance as they had just exited the tent. the explosion caught Lee and he sustained burns similar to Jack's.

Once Alli got the guys into the vehicle she made a phone call to the safe house extension. It took two hours to the to the safe house both guys fell asleep as Alli drove them through the mountain pass. After getting to the safe house and both Lee and Jack were treated for their injuries Alli knew life would never be the same...

    Pulling her mind out of the memory Alli drove the eight laned highway now running through Alamo. With its sky rise buildings and bridges similar to how Paso had been. Alli was headed to Lee's Pops. As she pulls up to the 15 foot wooden fence all fear and regret flows from Alli. She dials the code and tells the box her name. She watches the gate open and remembers a time when you had to get out to open it. Alli pulls forward into the parking lot of the large compound. As she looks around Alli realizes there is now eight trailers here not counting the common building the shop and the two green houses. Each trailer had a different type of tree around it.One had pecans, one had cherries, one had apples and so on. there were cows and goats and small pasture for them. They even had a huge farm like garden. They had made this a self sustaining compound, in all honesty the residents rarely had to leave. Alli gets out of the car and stretches.Suddenly a pair of arms is surrounding her waist, smiling she turns and faces her husband Slowly she wraps her arms around his neck, they stand holding each other just staring at each other for a long moment. Then off in the distance doors start shutting and the running of footsteps can be heard.

Lees eyes

    Only due to the fact he knew Jack would tackle him did he release Alli, and allow their nephew to get his hug. It had been seven years since the young man had seen her and it had been two years since he had. As soon as Jack had let go of her Lee took Alli back in his arms. She had lost weight and her blond hair was now brunette, he knew not to ask were she had been. After the past of missions for the cause and the things expected of both of them it was best just to hold her against him. Lee knew things were difficult between them. And their was things none of the family knew about them. In Alamo they were husband and wife, and that was that... Sighing softly while holding her close to him they slowly walked towards common building.

Inside the "family" all greets Alli. Dinner was ready, then he watched his tired love help clean up. Lee noticed she was not to talkative, he caught her around the waist and pulled her into his lap. Those who smoked stayed and blazed one as all got ready to go home for the night. As they were their own community they took thirty minutes to an hour every night to discuss the next days chores as they talked Alli fell asleep in Lee's arms. Her weight felt good to him though he felt she was a bit on the thin side. After the good nights were exchanged he carried her home. Jack opend the door for him. That nephew of theirs loved her more than even he could understand.

Quietly he carries her to their room and laid her on the bed. As he stripped off her clothes he noticed she was bruised around the ribs. His angel had new scars to add to her others. War had been hard on her body, he realizes. He strips and crawls in beside her. She turns towards him, jealousy flashed in Lees mind as the thought of who else could have been holding her like this in the past months crosses his mind. As soon as the emotion flares up it passes and he drew her closer. Hearing his name on her lips as she nuzzled his shoulder he fell into the best nights sleep in a long time.

Alli's eyes

    Alli woke up and for a brief moment panic floods through her as she tries to remember where she was. She hears Lee whisper her name, suddenly images of the day before flashed through her mind as she turned towards him, Alli's tears flows over, it had been a long time since she felt safe. And now knowing that through everything he was here holding her overwhelmed her.

"Why are you crying?"

Alli had no idea how to answer him, after several failed attempts she simply whispered

"I missed you".

Softly Lee kissed Alli on the lips as he gently pulled her into his arms. His lips trailed down to her neck, as he traced his way down her body with light kisses Lee slipped a hand down her thighs moving towards her dripping p***y. Softly she moans as his fingers slip in side of her. His lips were suckling and teasing her n*****s as he feels her growing wetter and wetter. smiling he starts to taste her sweet juices. Alli starts to pant as he licks and fingers her. Suddenly she begs for him to f**k her. Smiling he slips off his shorts and slides his throbbing d**k into her. He felt good Alli feels the sweet feel of him pounding her p***y. After they both c*m Alli feels Lee kiss her shoulder then growling with content he pulls her across his body like she were his blanket, knowing neither were ready to get up she buries her face into his neck, listening to his breathing she goes back to sleep. Hours later she wakes alone, she quickly gets up and jumps into a shower. As she gets out she felt ready to talk and be normal for a while. For about a month that normal feeling lasted...

    Its Jacks birthday, Alli and Sandy were out in Alamo shopping for his gifts. As they cruised down Florida street, Alli could see in her minds how things used to be. She could still picture the houses in their prime, now this was only a commercial property area. Alamo was one of the few towns that retained being normal. They were for militia so they grew like cities did before the war. Tears started to fall as Alli could see the changes and she knew she too had changed. Sandy looked at her cousin and turned the radio up. She had her cds fro he past playing and they were listening to to Cinema by Skrillex. Sandy saw a smile start and then both women were laughing and singing like they were young girls again.

    Lowes grocery store was now as big as any former Ikea stores had been. Alli was looking up at the different ice chests when Sandy came around the corner with a basket full of alcohol. Choking back her laughter at her cousins innocent look when Alli asked if she had any plans to by food, Alli heard her phone go off. Looking down she say it was Joey her Handler. Knowing this was going to the last night she would have with the ones she loved the most Alli decided to answer later.
