Allis eyes     She woke up a few days later, the pain she was in wasn't nearly as bad as it had been. Alli looked around and found she was in medical, suddenly as realization hits her she is pissed as hell. Ripping her iv out and stripping off the cords. She was able to stand up but felt very wobbly. It did not matter she wanted out of that room, she made it down the long hallway to the cafeteria, her mind said she could leave her thoughts were all about leaving and going back to the mission when suddenly she ran into Lee. They stood their and stared at each other. Alli could feel herself lose strength, suddenly she passed out and Lee quickly caught her. Carefully he carried her back to her room, a nurse was there waiting to reinsert Alli's iv. After watching her breath for a bit he slipped off to go back to work.     Two weeks later a man shows up at the base, asking Mack for a woman that can be used to pose as his new wife and help protect his daughter,r basically as her body guard. He was a politician and needs her asap. Mack explains that the only one available is still healing, but she is the best that they have. The politician asks to meet Alli, she is sent for by a runner. Upon meeting him, Alli dubs her soon to be "husband" as the man in white. He is a  tall white man with light grey eyes, he is wearing a white suit, and hat. He shows her a picture of his daughter and explains what his wishes are. Alli agrees to take on the assignment. They then discuss when to meet up and he takes his leave. Alli goes to the Mechanics tent she knows she needs to pick up a few supplies. For the first time since the cafeteria incident Alli sees Lee. He looks up at her and as always he looks like he is mad as hell. Rolling her eyes she precedes on to pick up her newly fixed radio, a few trackers and some other gadgets. "Going back in I see" Lee states. "Yes," she replied softly.  "Are you healed enough?" He asks. "Does it matter? She retorts. "Yes it f*****g matters" Lee reply's angrily. "Whatever! You can't possibly care, you signed that right away remember???" Alli cries out exasperated. "Why do you always have to be so f*****g frustrating?" Lee hisses as he walks away. Alli sighs sadly, this wasn't the way she had intended their good bye to be. Spying Lee's truck keys she snags them on her way out. She doesn't understand why Lee always seemed angry around her anymore. As far as she remembers she hasn't done anything wrong. She is just doing her job, like he was and he knew everything that happens to her. Knowing he was already mad at her, caused her to decide to take the truck to her meeting destination. After she arrives, she calls Mack to give the coordiance of Lee's truck. Then she turns and goes in to a court tent to do this performance of becoming the politicians wife. Lees eyes     Lee was helping some locals out and fixing their equipment. Alli had stolen his truck, though at first it pissed him off, and he was more pissed that she used those f*****g words she had to say. It also made him smile a tiny bit that she was still the same sassy woman he cared for. His wife was always upset when Allie was brought up. So he did his best not to mention her. But the woman made it hard for him some times when Alli was all most of the meetings. His new wife always attended them with him so Alli was mentioned more than not and what she was doing, where she was, and who she had been in contact with. His new wife knew he would always love his first wife, even though he had married her and gave her everything she wanted. She was spoiled but she gave him his beautiful step daughter and his son whom he never thought in a million years he would have. Being he always thought he couldn't have kids..... sighing Lee continued to work though his mind ran over the scene that played out again in his mind... Allis eyes     The teen Alli was supposed to protect is a lovely young woman named Charity that she found easy to get along with. The man in white was a good man, in private he never touched Alli sexually, he only ever held her hand or pecked her on the cheek if someone was watching them in public. He did appreciate she knew how to act at a proper Politician's wife. Alli loved the girl and taught her all she could so the Charity would have a fighting chance in life. One day months later  Alli and Charity were wandering the outdoor vendors mall. They lived in Vegas, if it had not been for the politicians Vegas would have dried up and disappeared. Tent malls were the heart of Vegas when the politicians weren't going at it in the amphitheater. Alli notices that her handler Joey is there at a vendors watching her. They are only a few vendors apart but neither speaks out loud, Joey'makes a few hand gestures then disappears. Her training kicks in and Alli takes Charity out of the tent mall. She directs the girl back to the man in whites apartments. On their way out of the tent mall Alli notices Lee's wife and step daughter are there. They had only met once and Alli had been introduced as Lee's co worker since saying she was his former wife only made her jealous. Knowing Lee like she did Alli told his wife to go home, that today was a bad day to be there. Lees wife smiled politely but did not heed Alli's warning. Within five minutes the first of nine bombs went off. The Army was mad at the Milita so they decided these strikes would be punishment. Alli had got the girl to the front door of the apartments before the first blast went off. As soon as it was safe Alli left the girl in the care of her father and went back out to see how she could help. She knew it was the militia's way to aide those who got attacked, and to clean up the debris. Shortly after the man in white moved his daughter to a different town. Which released Alli of her duties to them. Lees eyes     Lee had got the warning to tell his family to stay away from the tent malls. He and the wife were finally getting along again. She was jealous of Alli, and knowing that Alli was living here in Vegas had made his wife very angry. Once he got the warning he had called to tell her and the kids it was best to just stay home. She argued that they needed a few items at the market. Lee did his best to tell her to stop acting spoiled and stubborn. Just before he hung up he pleaded with her to listen to him for once in her life. That day the  Army bombed the outdoor market and killed dozens, while many more were injured. Lee saw Mack approach his work bench right after the reports came in, at first he thought something had happend to Alli, but that was the day he lost a part of himself when he heard he lost his step daughter and wife. His boy was at home with his cousins and was safe. Not caring about the cause or why he had dedicated his life to it, Lee did the one thing he knew he needed to and that was gather Lee Jr. and go home where Jack was. He did have a passing thought and a fleeting prayer that Alli was okay where ever she may be.
