Sarah-Six Months Later (Caylee is 8 weeks pregnant for reference)
"Mom, are we having lunch tomorrow too or just meeting after?" I ask her as I stir the soup I'm making for dinner. Christmas is in a week and we're going out tomorrow to finish our shopping. Caylee is going to come too because she is way behind she said. Which is odd for her. She's usually done way early.
"Let's have lunch. Mags can't make it now. She's got a baby shower for someone she works with." Mom clucks her tongue. "Where do you want to eat?"
"How about we go to Lula's. They have everything. Caylee had a stomach bug not too long ago so she can find something she can tolerate."
"Hmm a very good idea. I'm sure she's still feeling the...effects." Mom says thoughtfully. "I'll see you girls there at 11."
"Perfect."
