|| Chapter 9 ||

Me after I ran one lap ^^^

We finished our artwork on time. It took a while since I and Mel wanted to make it look good. Stupid Theo didn't lock his garage! Yeah, we basically broke in but thankfully none was home. I looked around and took my phone out to take pictures.

"What the hell is this?" I gasped staring at the stick man on the side corner of his bike.

"Well I couldn't let you guys take all the credit," I looked at Lacy and she smiled back.

"Guys! I think someone's coming," I heard Mai quietly yell. There was like a door on the side of the garage door that he left open. I quietly closed it so anyone on the outside won't suspect anything. My heart was beating so fast and I was hella scared. Thank god the paint is washable! If it wasn't then I'll probably be dead meat, honestly, if Theo wasn't my 'bodyguard' then he'll kill me for this, but for once I'm thankful that he is. We heard the front door open, footsteps and door closing.

"Let's get out of here," I whispered to them and opened the door, ready to run if necessary. I looked around and the coast was clear. I made hand motions for them to go out. I quickly hid behind the bushes and my friends followed me. I noticed that Lacy left the door open. I quickly ran to it and closed it.

"What are you doing?" I heard a deep voice and I froze. I turned around.

"H-Heyyy Noah, how you doing?" I grinned.

"What are you doing here?" He asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"Saw the door open, so I closed it..." I lied.

"Why do you have paint on your hands," I looked at my hands and saw pink paint on my fingers.

"I paint?"

"Did you paint his car or motorbike?" He asked smiling suspiciously. Busted!

"How did you know?" I said laughing nervously.

"Obvious," He laughed.

"I'll give you five seconds to run before I call Theo," His smile turned into a devilish smirk and my eyes widened.

"Five..." He said and I ran towards the bush when he wasn't looking.

"THEO!" He yelled. Theo came out and Noah told him. Me and my friends got our phones out to film the reaction. He ran to the garage and opened the door, I heard a loud scream. Noah followed him and started laughing. Derek came out looking all confused and came in. After a few seconds, I heard Derek start laughing. All of them came out and let me tell you, Theo looked pissed. Like very pissed. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Derek's eyes moved from the floor to the bush. Oh no, please be a good human being and don't tell Th-

"Theo, they are right there," Theo's eyes looked at me. To be honest, I was terrified of what he might do. All of the sudden Theo started fast walking towards us.

"ABORT MISSION!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while standing up and running for my life the opposite direction which Lacy was running. I looked back and saw Theo chasing me, Derek chasing Lacy who was running away. I was surprised to see Mai not running for her life. I looked back to where I was running and like an i***t, I tripped over the trash can. Clich , I know. I fell on the floor and looked back at Theo who was laughing his butt off. I stood up and tried to walk but my knee hurts so much.

"Stop laughing!" I said and tried my best not to laugh or smile because I'll admit it. it was kinda funny. I grabbed the pole for support.

"Alright, I'm done, now for payback..."

"Oh, I'm sure that's not necessary!" I said quickly.

"Yeah, it is! You painted my bike! My baby! You painted Jay!"

"Yeah, but if you didn't put me on it then I wouldn't have done it, so that was my payback! You can't payback my payback!" I don't think that made sense.

"Yeah I can watch me,"

"You're my bodyguard, you are not meant to hurt me in any way!" I quickly said and smiled.

"Who said I was going to hurt you?" He walked towards me and grabbed my face with his hands and our lips met together. I was frozen. Paralyzed. He's taking my first kiss... that's his revenge! Bastard!

'Kick him in the balls'

I used my injured knee to knee him in the balls. He fell on the ground groaning.

"You son of a biscuit! Hope you go rot in hell! Keep your lips to yourself!" I yelled.

"Oh god, you got all the slut on me!" I said and tried to rub off my lips on my skin. Who knows how many diseases this guy has! I then walked back to my friends. Well, you can say hopped. I feel like a bunny. Payback is sure a female dog.
