Ethan’s POV After an argument with Laila, Ana finally agreed to allow me to tag along to the Tahoe Coven. I could tell that the witch still didn’t trust me, even though her animosity towards me had vanished after that spell which almost cost me my life. The only condition was that I had to go alone, and none of my remaining pack members were allowed to come along. I thought it was strange how cold Laila was towards the rest of my pack members, even towards Dillion, with whom she was on especially good terms before she was taken. It was only after thinking about her accusation that I had sold her to the auction house did I put two and two together.
