I watched with sharp eyes as each minute ticked by on the clock. The closer it got to one, the more nervous I became. I knew I had agreed to have lunch with Nikolai and his friends, yet a small part of me was regretting saying yes. I knew this was a new school and that I had a chance to start over, but there would always be that part of me that wanted to retreat back into my comfort zone.
The shrill of the bell rang out in the classroom, and everyone jumped out of their seats. I watched as everyone began shuffling out of the classroom within ten seconds and the teacher didn't even bother scolding them. He simply pursed his lips and leaned back in his seat comfortably.
