MY HEAD WAS POUNDING. My eyes fluttered open as I let out a quiet groan. I blinked as all I was met with was darkness. My head snapped to the left and the right, desperately looking for some source of light. . . But there was nothing. There was some fabric tied over my eyes. My heart raced in fear at the unknown. I didn't know where I was, I couldn't see anything around me. . . It was then the realization dawned on me that I was bound. I tugged on my arms and legs violently, the coarse material of the rope digging into my skin with a light burn. "No no no," I mumbled in distress.
