Chapter 5 - What is wrong with me?

“Why of all people in the entire world did it have to be him?!” I said to Ellie as we walked to the canteen.

”Uhhh Will Parker is extremely h..” to stopped as she saw be go red and that I had started to growl.

“What the f**k just happened... Why am I growing?!!!” I screeched as I just realised what I did

”Duhhh you’re his mate, you get protective” Violet said as sat down next to Ellie in the canteen

“Yeah, look, Cait, don’t sweat it, it’s Will, people make him look worse, like he’s evil and scary... you can’t... just be..” Ellie started speaking but I couldn’t concentrate on what she was saying

My eyes started going fuzzy and my head felt like someone was hitting me with a hammer, Then i started to fall from the chair to the floor but before that could happen,

Arms fell around me and began to shake me gently

But darkness took over me...

*Will’s POV*

I was sat down in the canteen laughing and joking around as one of my best friends Hunter began telling us about his weekend with Helen.

Yes, Helen as in Helen apart of Winnie’s group.

God I hate that girl, she is wayyyyyy to clingy..

But as I sat there and listen to the boys mess about and talk, I had a perfect view of Cait, she hates me and I know it... But she is pretty, she doesn’t seem like the other girls, even though she is my mate, she won’t accept it. However, I think I should talk to her and ask her what’s going on because I kissed her and I think that confused her..

she would never want someone like me? I’m her enemy, I’m a horrible person and I’ll say it myself, I’m a man w***e but I’m not proud, I want to change, for her...

”ooo who you looking at then Will? Someone special?” Hunter teased as he punched my arm, making to snap out of my thoughts. However I didn’t get angry as he is Beta.

”Nothing, just looking”

He followed my eyes where I was looking and then said

“really Will Cait? Like w..” he stopped when a low growl came from my chest

“oh my god... she’s ur mate isn’t she” he whispered so only I could hear

i nodded and said

“ yes, but she’s different and..”But as I was about to carry on I saw Cait’s two friends, start panicking and waving their hands in front of her face. Then I knew what was going to happen.

Cait was about to faint

i ran as quick as I could across the canteen, grabbed Cait before she fell. At this point, everyone was staring and they knew something was up.

i shook Cait gently but she had been sealed by darkness. I picked her up and took her my car and drove her to my house.

I don’t know if this is gonna be bad or good, I’ll hope for the best.

As I sat in the car, I kept glancing over at her, she was stiring and then all of a sudden she screamed so bloody loud, the other side of the world can hear her! Anyway, I pulled the car over and she had already started crying, tears streaming down her face and her her eyes were puffy and red

what is wrong with her?

Then she jolted up and looked at me still crying and then she realised where she was and who she was with and said..
