Episode 1: "The Call That Changed Everything"

Elen's POV
I got up this morning cheerful as always, stretching and tiptoeing out of bed so I wouldn’t wake anyone. Mom, Dad, and my little brother were still asleep, so I moved quickly to do my chores.
I had a scene to shoot today, and the directors didn’t like lateness, especially from newbies like me.
After a quick shower, I wore my favorite pink gown, braided my hair into two neat plaits, slipped on white sandals, and added a touch of lip gloss. "Simple and pretty", I whispered, smiling at myself in the mirror.
Breakfast was ready before anyone else woke up. I carried coffee and sandwiches to the dining room and was about to sit when I heard Dad’s voice. “Elena, are you there?”
“Here, Dad,” I said, still smiling. But his face looked different today, tense, worried. “I just got a call from Mr. Adrian. The contract… it will be signed today at 10 a.m.”
My hands froze on the cup. Today? But I have my first scene! The glass slipped from my fingers and shattered. My heart was pounding so hard I could hear it in my ears.
“We don’t have a choice,” Dad said. And just like that, my life suddenly felt out of control.
