Vincent’s POV Crunch! I picked the metal pole up and flung it at Saber. It smacked him in the side of his head and he went tumbling to his back. It took him only seconds to get back on all fours. He arched his back and showed his teeth, growling my way. I shot him a warning glare. He held his stance for a minute longer before he leaned down, grabbing his prey, and dragging it off somewhere else to eat. I scowled after the mutt and leaned back in my chair. The night air was toxic and the stench was unbearable. I was use to it by now, seeing as we've lived in many places like this. My home town, Coldwater Michigan, was now a waste land where no humans existed. It's been years since I've come here and now that I am, the place has died. The rebel vampires sucked this state clean. Unfortunate
