When Skylar saw that Valerie had come out of the basement, he smiled and went to her but stopped when he saw her red eyes and went to her.
“Are you alright?” he asked as he came closer to her and placed his hand on her shoulder.
While she just looked at him before she suddenly moved ahead and hugged him.
Skylar was shocked at this gesture, but he didn’t push her back he let her hug him.
Valerie closed her eyes and asked, “Skylar?”
