She tried to initiate a conversation or get a reaction out of Skylar but he just gave her monotonous replies and didn’t even look at her.
Rose felt hurt by this but she didn’t let it show on her face as she gave him a smile and said, “by the way Skylar since when did you knew that Valerie was your mate?”

Rose felt happy that Skylar was looking at her finally but she also felt bad that she had to mention Valerie to get his attention.
