Have you ever been so sure that you 100% married the right woman? You can’t actually spend a day without staring at her and she is always on your mind. I am not good at expressing myself but I am talking about my wife Naledi. I have so many things that I can say about her but the first thing is first, she is the best thing that ever happened to me. Right now I have just been staring at her as she had been telling me stories. She is s none stop talker, meaning she can talk and she is very personal. It feels like I married her yesterday but we had been married for 2 years.

‘Did you hear what I just said?’ she asked whilst I was rubbing her feet.

She is currently pregnant, at 6 months now and I can’t wait to be a father. I honestly can’t wait.

‘You are very beautiful,’ I complimented and she covered her face with both her hands.

She made me laugh by doing that. You know I left early for my meeting, I mean I was supposed to attend the celebration party but I told Stella that I was heading back home soon. The way I had missed my wife, I couldn’t sleep one more night without you. She was my teddy bear that I used to cuddle the whole night and her voice always made me happy a lot. I was scared of marriage life but now I am safe to say that, I shouldn’t have waited for years. I could have married her the same day that I asked her to be my lady.

‘And you are cute too husband of mine. What do you want us to do today on a lazy Saturday?’ she asked.

‘We will watch a cartoon movie. What does he love watching?’ I asked referring to our unborn child.

‘You can ask him.’

‘Denzel, which is your favorite cartoon? Sorry, what?’ I said placing my ear on her tummy.

And she was laughing.

‘He said Zootopia,’ I said to her.

‘Didn’t he say The Crood?’

‘No, he said Zootopia.’

‘Okay then let's watch that,’ she said and I got up to put the cartoon for us.

‘Do you need some popcorns?’

‘Hmmm nooo, I am fine for now.’

‘Alright my love.’

I went back to sit on the sofa and placed her legs on my lap as I continued to massage her feet. She instantly fell asleep and that made me laugh. I guess she must have been tired. She woke up helping out the maid. I took her to our bedroom and covered her with a small blanket. The maid is not here today. Since I had given her some off days when I traveled on that business trip. The meeting went well with the investors and I am safe to say that I am taking the company to another level. I closed the door making sure not to wake her up. I was heading downstairs when my phone vibrated from my pocket and I took it out. I smiled looking at the caller id.

‘Pal,’ I said to her.

‘How are you?’

‘I am okay and you?’

‘I am okay and sorry I didn’t call asking if you arrived safely.’

‘Oh, you were worried about me?’ I asked her.

‘Yes, I was a little. How was your trip?’

‘It was okay, thank you. The people from that private jet were very friendly.’

‘I am glad they were because I had promised to fire them if they didn’t take good care of you. You were greatly missed last night.’

‘How did the event go?’

‘Very well in fact and I must say you really put on a good impression on those Canadians. They love you.’

‘Awww really. All thanks to you. How is husband to be?’

‘He is okay. He just went out and I am busy packing.’

‘Oh, you coming back already?’

‘Yes, husband traveled somewhere and so I can’t be alone here. At least if I come back that side, I have got my little sister staying with me.’

‘I bet she misses you a lot.’

‘Shantel can be a drama queen. She already called asking me when I am coming back. I guess being alone sucks for her too. She didn’t want to crush at our parents’ house.’

‘Teenagers.’

‘Tell me about them. Anyway, talk to you soon and pass my greetings to Naledi.’

‘I will Stella, thank you.’

‘Bye.’

‘Bye.’

Stella is a good friend of mine. We have been friends since high school and varsity. We are actually of the same age, she is also 30 but born in June. I was born in February and my wife is 25 years old, that’s a difference of 5 years and I know that. Anyway back to Stella, when I started my company I struggled really hard to get some investors but Stella’s father helped me out a lot. 

Stella did put on a good word for me and I ended up sharing the company with her. She just only owns a quarter of the shares. I actually had planned to give her half of the shares but she refused. She said that she had done it out of love and didn’t expect me to repay her. 

She said that she just wanted me to succeed and my company was doing well, all thanks for her help. I had travelled with her to UK and had left early because I knew that she would be well taken care of. She has been dating this man for a year now and I told her that it’s time for them to get married, she is not getting any younger and has to start getting pregnant soon.
