It has been a week since I spent that day with Eros. I've been trying to work out a way to get money for Clara. If I can give her enough for a few months, it means she can find a job and stay away from the business going forward.
After what happened last time, I know I can't leave with her still in this business.
“You don't need to watch her scenes, you know,” Dale looks at me.
“I know I don't need to, but I am,” I snap back. I've watched every scene she has been in since that day to ensure no one oversteps the mark of offering her money for something she doesn't agree with.
Even if I wasn't involved, I came in and watched her. When she went to other locations, I went as well, refusing to let her go alone. Crazy, maybe, but I don't trust them.
