ARIA I woke up feeling hollow. My stomach was already grumbling from hunger, but that wasn’t the only reason I dragged myself out of bed. My chest felt heavy, my thoughts were still cluttered, and worst of all, I missed my wolf. Last night was rough for me. If my wolf were here, we would have gone hunting, run through the woods until exhaustion cleared my head. Instead, I tossed and turned on my bed, replaying what Axel had done, he didn't even bother checking up on me. Even though I had pushed him away he should have tried to reach out to me but he left just like that.
