Isabella POV 

“ Oh my goodness, this is why you took me away from my birthday party Stella? To set me up with a man I haven’t seen before??!”

I said whisper-yelling to my crazy best friend, apparently she is out of her damn mind, she saw Christian Black once and she has been trying to set me up with him on my birthday, I ignored her crazy ass and decided to touch up my makeup, but her talk was making me infuriated so I snapped “ why can’t you understand Stella?! My heart is dead after what happened to me, you saw what I have dealt with, you saw how my heart was broken, I’m not ready to go through that again…” Stella came and hugged me saying “ I know Isabella, believe me I do, but you will never find your happiness if you won’t try again” I hate to say this, but she’s right, I have been suffering from my last experience for years, but I have promised myself that I wouldn’t let my heart be the reason to make me sad again, I trusted him, he chose to cheat on me and choose another woman over me, Stella’s voice brought me back to reality and I shrugged and got out of the bathroom, and our friends were already waiting for me to show up, I was smiling at all my friends who came all the way to Paris just for my birthday, I didn’t believe my eyes when the most handsome man I have ever seen approached to me, I never seen such a mesmerizing man in my whole life, he had an excellent black tuxedo that didn’t bother to hide his muscular body, he was very tall and quite charming, his hair was hazelnut brown faded to blonde tone, and it was done nicely, his chiseled face and sharp jaw made me wonder, can a man be this perfect?? His hazel with a hint of blue eyes were unique, his lips were so perfect that it made me squirm, then his voice made me get back to reality from wonderland, he said my name so breathlessly that it made my heart beat so fast, I had to answer him so I asked “ Yes?” 

He took my hand and bent over to kiss it softly, still in shock from the fact that he is Christian Black! His lips met my hand and it felt so nice, I started blushing and said looking at his eyes “ Mr Black, I didn’t actually know that you’d show up to my birthday” he chuckled saying “ well now that you know, I’m here with my brother and our friend Ian, you ran into each other earlier that day “ I looked at Ian over Christian’s shoulder and saw him with Sophia chatting, I smiled looking at them and said “ Ah, he is indeed quite a nice person” he nodded while still looking into my soul through my eyes, then suddenly Stella comes and whispers in my ear “ bathroom meeting now!” I hated to leave Christian but I had to see what my crazy friend is up to, I smiled at him then excused myself leaving to the bathroom, as soon as I got inside the bathroom Stella dragged me which caught me by surprise and I said “ jeez Stella! You scared me!” She chuckled and said smiling “ oops, I know you’re wondering why I dragged you to the bathroom, so Albert, he says he has a surprise for me, and if we wanna catch up we have to leave now” I looked at her smiling and said “ don’t worry dear, go and have fun, be save “ she hugged me saying multiple “thank you”s making me laugh, I’m glad that Stella found happiness with Albert, she stormed out of the bathroom In happiness and I followed her, the party went really nicely, as everyone was leaving, I was looking for Christian but I couldn’t find him, then I feel someone behind me so I immediately turn around and there he is, with the most charming smile and he asked me with a kind tone and his deep voice “ will you let me accompany you to your hotel Isabella? “
