"Gabriel, do you know him?" The man asked Bella with his shining blue eyes.
"He's your son, right?" Bella searched for more information.
"Why should I tell you? You must know me and my family tree."
Bella stood up. She felt she was wasting time talking to the man, who seemed to be drunk. When her feet were about to step away, suddenly, Louis pulled Bella's hand and pulled her until she sat on the man's lap.
"What do you mean? You're insolent! Let go, me!"
"I got you!"
"You crazy person! Let go of me! Help! Someone, help me!"
No one dared to help Bella because they didn't want to get involved with Louis' business. Bella kept trying to escape, and suddenly, Louis blew on Bella's neck, so the girl immediately shut up as if hypnotized.
"You know what? Gabriel doesn't deserve you. My son is precious, and I don't want him to get a drunk girl like you," Louis said in a half-whisper.
"I'm not drunk, nor do I want a relationship with your son who cheated on me behind my back. I also regret falling in love with him."
Bella then got off Louis' lap and straightened her clothes. She then looked at Louis and gave him an annoyed look.
"You're just like your son!"
Bella's feet ran out of the place. It was very unlucky when she had to meet the father of her ex-lover.
The streets of Milan were still crowded, with many vehicles passing by. There is no place for Bella to go home at this time because of the situation of her adoptive parents, who are still fighting. Of all the people on Earth, why did she have to feel this way? Her adoptive parents don't like her, her boyfriend cheated on her, and she met a mobster who could have killed her on the spot because she was sure Louis had a gun under his fancy suit.
"Where should I go? I don't have any close friends either."
A car suddenly sped up when Bella was about to cross the street. She was surprised and immediately backed away, but she fell and hit a pole until she fainted.
Louis approached her with an expressionless gaze.
"Mr. Louis, do you know this girl?" Alister asked.
"Yes, get her into the car."
"Okay."
They then got into the luxury car and headed to Louis' mansion. In the car, Bella had not regained consciousness from her stupor. Bella's misfortune is now compounded because she is taken to Louis' mansion, which is rarely visited by others.
The car splits the road in the middle of the forest, far from the city. The night is getting darker, and no light is on the road. Louis also doesn't live with Gabriel and prefers to live in a mansion in the middle of the forest like this.
After arriving at the mansion, Louis brought Bella into his room. Who would have thought that his room, which had not been touched by women for a long time, was now visited by his son's ex-girlfriend?
Now Bella was lying on the bed. She was still unconscious, and her forehead was injured from hitting the pole earlier.
Not long after, Bella woke up from her stupor. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. When her eyes caught the figure of Louis, who stood watching her, she was very surprised.
"You? Where am I?"
"You haven't had a whiskey, but you're already drunk," Louis said teasingly.
"I told you I'm not drunk!"
Louis came closer and stroked Bella. Bella backed away slowly, fearing Louis would do something perverted to her.
"What do you want from me? Why did you bring me here?" said a very confused Bella.
"You should thank me because you fainted on the road, and I helped you."
Bella remembered that a car almost hit her, and she fell with her head, hitting a pole on the side of the road.
"You should have taken me to the hospital instead of a strange place like this," Bella said.
"Strange place? This is my room, Baby."
Bella was surprised and looked around her. The room was very classic and filled with weapon displays on the walls.
Bella also noticed all her clothes that were still attached to her body.
"Oh, you think I r***d you?" asked a somewhat offended Louis.
"I want to go home." Bella stood up, but her head felt dizzy; she stepped back and sat on the edge of the bed.
"It's 11 pm, and it's a dark forest out there. If you go home now, you probably won't survive because tigers roam at night," Louis said.
"I'd rather be pounced on by a tiger than be pounced on by you here." Bella stood up again, but her body staggered, and Louis caught her.
Louis helped to lay Bella down on the bed again.
"Don't be stubborn! My assistant will escort you tomorrow morning. Now get some sleep, and I have no desire to r**e that little body of yours either."
Louis then left the room while Bella rubbed her face roughly because there was no choice but to stay in a mobster's room tonight.
The next day.
Bella came out of the room and was amazed by the view of the mansion in front of her. It was like a fairy tale, and she didn't expect a rich man's mansion like this.
Bella then looked for where Louis was because she would collect the promise if she was driven home that morning.
"Mr. Louis is waiting for you in the dining room. Let me take you there!" said an old man wearing servant clothes.
Not wanting to think too much, Bella followed the old man to the dining room, where Louis was. When she got there, she saw Louis eating his breakfast.
"Did you sleep well?" asked Louis.
"Hmm... the mattress is very soft, unlike my room."
Bella sat across from Louis, and in front of her was a very tempting steak. It was rare for Bella to eat meat.
"Eat it!"
"Where's Gabriel? Does he know I'm here?"
"He doesn't live here. Shut up and enjoy your meal!"
The girl quickly ate her breakfast, which was delicious, and she had never tasted steak this good.
"Your parents didn't teach you manners about how to eat in front of the dining table?" asked Louis when he saw Bella's strange and messy way of eating.
"I no longer have biological parents. I live with my parents, who adopted me as a child, and they didn't teach me that."
Louis stood up, approached Bella, and kissed her on the lips. Bella was so surprised that the fork in her hand fell to the floor.
