I love this location

“Oh finally we get to get out of here! I think I would have died spending another night in bed with you, you know you move too much and I ended up spooning you just to get comfy.” Nikki complains.

I'm laughing at him complaining more and that he wishes that he were spooning Michael B Jordan.

We totally slept in and woke up at eleven. After our little dinner and the guys transforming into the wolf forms, Nikki and I watched ‘Black Panther' and then I fell asleep during ‘Creed’, it was a night of Michael B Jordan.

“says the person who snores, I’m sure Michael wouldn’t be impressed. I can’t believe I stayed up to watch only his movies, I should have slept with the guys on the floor to give you two some privacy.” I tease him.

Packing my bags and tidying up the room Penny walks in looking tired. Her long curly hair in a messy bun. She picks up the towel and makes me sit on the bed and starts drying my wet hair from my shower. Careful of my stitches, she brushes and ties my hair up in a pony tail. Nikki looking at me from behind Penny giving suspicious looks as to why Penny is treating me like a little kid, but I’m not complaining since my right hand is out of action I’ve only been able to brush my hair and do nothing with it but to leave it out. Penny helps me put a jacket on, zips it up then adjusts my sling over it. Picking up my bag and walking towards the door with a straight back and not looking back,

“If you got everything, let’s go, the car is waiting out front.” Penny says in a monotone voice.

Nikki and I look at each other a little bit confused with Penny’s tone and the weird way she is acting, I just shrug my shoulders not understanding what is happening with her.

We look around to make sure we haven’t forgotten anything I see the flowers and pick them up off the shelf with the jar to carry in my good hand then proceed to follow Penny.

Walking out the door almost felt like a relief, stuck in there for almost three days and the last night felt pretty suffocating especially not being allowed to leave the room.

We walk past the nurses station at the end of the corridor, I stop to thank them and ask them to thank Eden for looking after me. They wish me well and wave me goodbye.

Following Penny down the same corridors as yesterday. We reach the front of the clinic and the weather isn’t great. It’s cold and windy and the clouds are showing signs that it is about to rain.

Parked outside are three cars, first car is a nice silver Jeep Wrangler, second car is Penny’s red Honda CR-V, and the last car is a sleek pitch black BMW, all the windows tinted so you can’t see in, looking at all the cars I notice they all have tinted windows including Penny’s but that BMW is sure hella nice.

“You two in my car, one in the front and one in the back” Penny orders Mike and Brett “Kali jump in.” holding the back door open to her car “Nikki you’re with Mase.”

With an curious look I watch Nikki walk towards the black car I was just ogling at a few seconds ago and tilting the flowers in my left hand to cover my red embarrassed face on the right side but in the process I tip the water in the jar on my jacket,

“Kali! My goddess…give me those and hop in already!” Penny looking a little annoyed at my clumsiness.

Handing her the flowers I quickly hop in the back seat where Brett is watching me die of embarrassment. He looks like he wants to laugh but holds it in,

“Shush you!” directing it at Brett.

“I didn’t say anything.” With his hands up in surrender.

Looking out the window watching Penny tip the water into the garden then walking to the back of the car to place my bag and the flowers in the back, a bit sad she put the flowers in the back of the car.

Penny walks towards the drivers side then stops and looks at the trees, I start to feel worried hoping this isn’t going to be another repeat of yesterday, to my relief Penny hops in the driver’s seat starts the car and follows the car in front.

A few minutes into the drive my phone vibrates in my pocket and I know it’s Nikki probably texting to tease me, I still pull it out to read it,

Nikki: OMG that was funny as hell to watch girl!!! Lol

Kali: I’m so embarrassed I wanna die!

Nikki: Well at least when you die I can say you died from wetting yourself!! Hahaha

Kali: Ugh Nikki!! Don’t make me send your video to Michael B Jordans fan mail inbox!

Nikki: You wouldn’t! You are a kill joy!

Nikki: anyways my brother can’t stop smiling and it’s starting to annoy me. I might tell him I’ve already spooned you lol

Kali: I swear I’m about to push send.

Nikki: Fine gosh! Anyways you’re going to love where we are going.

Kali: if I embarrass myself at the new location please dig me a hold and bury me in it.

Nikki: Sure with pleasure! Haha there will be heaps of places to bury your cuteness!

Nikki: Oh hey…question…will you be able to face my brother? Cause he’s starting to annoy me.

Kali: I’m not sure Nikki. I still need some time. You, Brett and Mike seem to be the only males I can face with no problems.

Nikki: No worries girl… I might have an idea that might help you and get my brother off my back.

Wondering why he’s so intent on meeting that badly that he has to harass poor Nikki.

Kali: Your brother sounds determined to meet with me. Why? I know I owe him for the other night but if he’s harassing you that much there has to be a reason, right?

Nikki: I think for now we should work on getting you through your trauma first.

Kali: ok but you have to tell me when we get there. See you at the house soon.

That one recording has actually come in handy against Nikki and his teasing.

We have been driving for about 30 minutes and in the direction away from the main township. Going up and down windy roads and the view is absolutely gorgeous, rivers, green big trees, then tall breath taking mountains and even bigger ones that get lost in the clouds behind them, the scenery is just spectacular.

Now it seems we have entered the forest cause you can no longer see the mountains anymore, it’s just trees towering us on this lonely road ten minutes in the woods the cars slow down and turn down a narrow driveway, the cars stop and three guys jump out from the front car and run into the woods then we continue driving, I look back and see Mason and Nikki’s car stop before I can see anything else we turn a bend and slow down some more.

Looking ahead now and coming into view, my mouth drops open, a modern wooden paneled mansion with large windows, from the driveway there is clearly two wings to the mansion one bigger than the other. I’ve never been in a house this flash or big before. The building blends in with the trees which reminds you that you’re in the woods.

Penny parks the car close to the entrance. I’m hopping out of the car staring at everything looking lost for words. Mason's black car pulls up and parks next to Penny’s car but I’m too busy ogling at the mansion to notice the person getting out of the car, all I can do is admire and think of how big and beautiful the house is and what inside must look like

Mike and Brett leave to go circle the house obviously to inspect. Nikki joins me at my side making me jump a little and snap out of my daze. I’m quickly reminded of Mason’s black car and look at it,

“Don’t worry you can be embarrassed later, he’s on the perimeter run with the other guys. Come on let’s go inside.” grabbing my hand and dragging me into the house.

If I thought outside was something the inside is just wow.

“Nikki… wow is all I can say. This place is amazing! Wish I could live here forever!”

“You definitely will.” Giggling and dragging me to show me around.

He doesn't take me through the front door but through a patio entrance that leads straight into the dining area of the house, not stoping to marvel at the room he continues through to the kitchen.

The kitchen is huge with the latest appliances, white marble top island so big that you could probably fit at least twenty people. The counter where the sink is also a white marble top with a fruit bowl, cupboards are wooden like the outside panel of the house. The pantry and refrigerator is fully stocked.

"sorry I needed a drink of water, feeling parched from watching you die of embarrassment back there." teasing me.

After having his bottle of water Nikki drags me again, past the lounge and up a flight of stairs…

“Oh Nikki I want to see the house!”

“You will have enough time to explore, now stop complaining and hurry!

At the top of the stairs is a long hallway going left and right of the stairs, clearly leading to bedrooms but what makes this hallway captivating is when you look up it is glass ceiling that goes from one end of the hall to the other like a runner.

“Ok enough looking let’s keep going.” Nikki being a little impatient and takes me in the right direction of the hall.

He points to a door mid way of the hallway letting me know that is his room as we walk past it and keep walking till we reach the end of the hall and are facing a door.

“Open it.” Nikki says in a excited voice.

Turning the door knob and pushing the door open, behind it is a big beautiful spacious room, when you step in you are faced with a large king sized bed with a huge headboard, a pretty bedroom bench sits at the end of the bed the best bit of the room is that the bed faces floor to ceiling windows, letting in all the light from outside, and to the right of the bed in a space of it’s own is a love seat that faces a large fire place with a large television above it. Standing there looking at the room in awe, I only see these rooms in magazines.

“It’s your room.”

“W...What?”

“It’s your room. Mase wanted you to have this room.”

Gobsmacked that this beautiful room is mine, but I feel it’s a bit too much.

“This room is way too big for just me, I’ll be happy with a smaller room.”

“Oh that’s good then you can share the small room downstairs with him and I can use this room as a party room since it is sound proof.” Winking at me and grinning.

Without replying I roll my eyes at him and step into the room and walking around looking at everything like it was a museum, afraid to touch anything not wanting break it. Nikki grabs my hand and drags me to the opposite side of the fireplace and opens a double door,

“This is your walk-in wardrobe and further back there that door leads you to your bathroom. You can check it out later. We brought all your clothes here cause we don’t know how long we will be here so all your stuff is here, and girl you didn’t have much, so I sent the girls to do some shopping for you.”

“How did you guys get everything here so quickly and have it all ready? I was only in the hospital for not even three days.”

Curious how they did all this quickly, not only is my wardrobe full but the kitchen pantry and refrigerator were well stocked.

"Ah duh! you didn't have much."

Ok point taken. I see one side is taken up by my stuff, clothes and shoes, remembering my jacket is wet I take the sling off and unzip the jacket to change into a hoodie.

On the other side of the wardrobe it is locked, Nikki notices what I’m looking at and takes my hand dragging me out and motions that it is nothing and to forget about it.

Then leads to me the big windows, wow the view, Nikki slides the doors open and we step out onto the balcony, in front of me is a large grass area that leads to a large lake and the back drop is a sky scraping mountain, you can clearly see snow cover the top half of it before the tip gets lost in the clouds.

“So there's a story about this place, the story is that this lake is the beginning and end of the demi goddesses, it gives life and takes life, something like that. So the moon goddess fell in love with a mortal, she loved him so much she wanted him in her life for eternity but the problem was, she was immortal and would live forever and he would eventually die but somehow he became immortal, yeah I can’t remember that bit of the story but anyways, that mountain, somewhere up there is his eternal resting place, is what we will call it, moon goddess would visit him up there and they would do the deed… moon goddess had his babies and each time she was about to give birth she would come down from the moon to this lake just so he could watch her give birth to their children. She apparently gave birth to fifty demi goddesses all here in this lake and when each one lived out their human life they would come back to this lake to die to then join the gods and live for eternity and blah blah blah... I should have listened more I know I’ve missed some pieces” scratching his head and lightly laughing. “But I mean anyways those are the main points of the stories and the basis of this place.”

“it was still nice hear how important this place is. It’s beautiful here.”

Opening my arms to open up the lungs, I take in one big breath through the nostrils and out through the mouth a bit louder than I would have like.

“Ahhhhhhhh… I love this location”

Nikki’s laughing to the side of me, looking at him and wondering what is so funny, he points to a pitch black wolf standing mid way on the lawn looking up at me, looks happy.

“Mase said he’s happy you like it here.”

Still feeling embarrassed about earlier I jump behind Nikki at the mention of Mase’s name. I hear him whimper at my action, I quickly stick my arm out from behind Nikki and give a thumbs, Nikki bursts out in a loud laugh,

“Great recovery!” he says sarcastically obviously teasing me, I give him a slap on the arm “Ow! Sorry… “ still laughing “keep going at this rate and you will never be able to face my brother.” He snickers while rubbing his arm. “Come on let’s go down and get some lunch, I’m hungry since we missed breakfast.”

Nikki turns and heads back inside leaving me standing there, mixed feelings of embarrassed and shyness, standing on the balcony and blushing, I gaze at the big beautiful black beast below me giving him a smile,

“Thank you” I say before following Nikki.
