Chapter 4

730 Words
After eating, Jas went upstairs leaving her phone. It was blowing up. I had to see if it was Raheem’s b***h ass. It was. He was pissed, I laughed. He can’t none tonight baby. I couldn’t help it and just laughed, lord my cheeks did hurt. “Girl, what the f**k is so funny.” I heard attitude in her voice, I can’t confront her now, she’s been through enough. I’ll do it when that b***h gets on that type of timing. “First off cut the attitude, and secondly your “man” who's not really your “man” is blowing up your phone mad ‘cause he can’t get none. Finally.” The attitude stayed on her face. She must really want Corey to come back and f**k on her again. Must’ve been that good. “Just give me my phone, I’m tired and I’m going to bed.” She walks toward with the same attitude, like damn b***h, I’m sorry you can’t f**k him no more. “Goodnight?” I said it as a question cause like, what is the issue? I’ve never f****d Corey, but he must’ve felt that good for someone to be that mad. She stormed out, “Stop stomping!” “f**k you!” I almost hit my breaking point. But I calmed myself down before cussing her ass out. I just sat down, watched Tv and just thought. “What’s finna go down at school tomorrow?” I only think this because I heard about a bunch of fights, and I just don’t got time. I finally dozed off, finally some rest. I woke up, and immediately got ready for school. Jas was still sleeping; I wasn’t going to disturb her. She can wake up herself, but she gonna miss that bus. Oh well. I finally get dressed and Jas finally woke up. “Well good morning sleeping beauty.” She still looked pissed, no ma’am. “Why you ain’t wake me up, what time is it?” “Check your phone. Don’t miss the bus, it comes in 30 minutes.” This is what happens when you piss me off, ruin my mood at night, I ruin yours in the morning. I head out the door while Jasmine is complaining getting ready, oh well. I sit at the bus stop, and I hear Jasmine get closer. She has like 2 minutes so I guess she will make it in time. While this girl has an attitude, I see Corey across the street talking to some girl, and my blood just boils. I know I should be over him, but we’ve been together for a while. And being together for more than a year you can’t automatically let everything go. Our time together was genuine, so knowing the fact someone you love could do you so dirty in the end f*****g hurts. And now seeing him with another b***h just hurts even more. “Harlem, b***h the bus is coming, get up.” I forgot about the whole bus, luckily, we got on and sat towards the back. But I didn’t expect Corey to get on. I thought he switched schools ‘cause his cousin left. I guess not. “Corey, oh my god. You still got to Maplewood High?” Why would this b***h ask him, it’s never that serious like is she in love?! “Oh yeah. Moms says I’m staying because she doesn’t feel like filling out more paperwork so.” His mom has always been lazy, but yet I still love that woman. She was so funny and relatable and would get Corey in check for me. “Ya’ll still go here? Why?” Before Jasmine could even run her f*****g chaps, I said something so quick. “Yes, and what? You got a problem.” “Chill ma, just asking. I’m really surprised Jasmine still goes, I thought she would leave ‘cause of the whole thing between her and Raheem. Sorry for asking, damn.” I give him the stankiest stank face ever given. Yet he still asked, “How are you doing though Harlem. Last time I saw you I know you were hurt.” I didn’t want to answer, but I’m not a rude person. “I’m fine now, thank you.” “You welcome.” The rest of the ride was silent.
