Myra's POV
Beep...Beep...Beep
Only to be woken by the irritating sound of my alarm.
Ugh, I dislike that sound! I get up, go to the kitchen, and reluctantly clean last night's dishes. Afterward, I sweep and mop my house for the last time.
A quick visit to the bathroom for tooth brushing, followed by a cold shower. I change into comfy clothes for the journeyโmom fit jeans and an oversized T-shirt from Peter England, a style choice I share with girls who wear their boyfriends' hoodies.
( Myra be like: mera boyfriend nhi he toh kya hua , mein laundo ke kapde toh phen sakti hoon ๐)
I tie my hair in a messy bun, put on my favorite white sneakers, and wear my glasses, something I rarely do except during work hours.

I'm on my way to the airport. Ten minutes ago, I finally left my house after booking an Uber. The journey to the airport was smooth, and I reached there without any issues.
After passing through the boarding gate, a flight attendant approached me. Since my company had already sent me the flight tickets, she directed me towards the business class, saying,
"Ma'am, A330 is your seat. Enjoy the journey."
I was shocked, thinking there might be a mistake. Nevertheless, I thought, why not enjoy the experience they provided.
After a 10-minute, the plane took off, and I really enjoyed the journey. I saw beautiful clouds and sunlight streaming down, capturing the moment with a snap for my Snapchat friends.
After exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes, we landed in Mumbai, the city of dreams. Stepping off the plane, I took a deep breath, feeling the significance of returning to this memorable soil after many years.
Soon, I headed to the exit where my company's driver, dressed in white, welcomed me. He politely introduced himself as the one driving me to my quater. I greeted him back and followed him to a black Hyundai Venue car. My company had arranged both the ride and the quater for my stay.
Soon, I reached my quarter. The driver uncle helped with the luggage, carrying it all the way to my front door.
Oops! I forgot to describe the view of my quarter... When we enter, there's a large cemented semi-circle at the entrance with 'The Shergill Society' written on it in beige and brown colors. Then we walk straight, turn left, and my quarter is the fourth one. It has a bluish type paint, which is my favorite color, and a small lawn. As soon as we open the door, we enter the hall, kitchen, bedroom + bathroom. You can say it's a 1BHK.
Enough of the description of my new house, now I'll get some work done.
Allow me to do a bit of cleaning at home now; although the company has taken care of it, 'self-satisfaction' is also a thing.
I've been cleaning for 1.5 hours, and I didn't even realize. It was good that I had a burger on the flight; otherwise, mice would have made a home in my stomach.
Alright, I'll organize my bedroom first, then I plan to go grocery shopping.
They've provided me with a single bed and a comfortable Sleepwell sheet. On one side, there's a working table with small shelves for my belongings like books. Adjacent to that, there's a cupboard for my clothes. The color of my bedroom is white, and I like it.

๐[How's the room!?]
After organizing everything in their appropriate spots, I rested on my new bed for a while.
After resting for a short while, I got up. I went outside, observed the entire house, and decided that if any changes were needed, I would make them.
After doing that, I made a grocery shopping list, including items like fruits, vegetables, cleaning supplies, dried pasta and noodles, flour, oil, etc.
Alright, now that the shopping list is ready. Let's go for shopping. When I was coming from the airport, I saw that there is a mart within walking distance from my society.
I picked up my shopping bag, locked the door, and as I was about to leave, a neighbor asked me some casual questions. (you know how neighbors are curious ๐งโโ๏ธ)
Aunty's questions are :
โขDo you really think you'll fit in here?
โข Where did you move from?
( Author: Tumko kya karna he aunty, apne kaam se matlb rakho na ๐)
Following that, I proceeded to Dev Mart, a place renowned for its variety. I first explored the vegetable section, then ventured into the realm of fruits. My affection for tangy fruits knows no bounds.
After placing vegetables and fruits in my basket, I grabbed a trolley for groceries. Then, I decided to pick up some Amul dark chocolate.
It's the only thing I indulge in as a sweet treat. (Hehehehehehehe)
After completing my entire shopping, when I went to the billing counter for the bill, I accidentally bumped into an unexpected person. And I let out a curse under my breath,
'Andha he kya behen ke l*de.'
However, as I lifted my head, shock washed over me.
I had unwittingly cursed my boss, and I couldn't believe he was present. Mentally, I found a twisted satisfaction in having cursed him, convinced
- he deserved it ๐.

Rakshit POV,
Of course, you all must know me because the author must have already introduced me.
Wait, be patient. Shouldn't I get a chance to introduce myself too?
Hello, I'm Rakshit Shergill, a 27-year-old entrepreneur on the brink of becoming the CEO of Priya D. Pvt company. Proudly, I am the owner of PARI Hospital, where my expertise lies not in medicine, but in steering the ship toward profitability. Ready to lead, innovate, and make a mark in both the corporate and healthcare domains.
let's talk a bit about looks. After all, the author seems to really flaunt my appearance.
( author: Phak you Rakku,
Rakshit: don't call me that ๐)
I stand tall, my athletic build accentuated by tousled black hair and piercing brown eyes. A strong jawline gives my confident demeanor an edge, while a subtle scar on my cheek tells a tale of past adventures. I prefer casual attire, practical yet with a hint of rugged charm.
[ The Subtle Scar, it has a funny story you'll know further in Chapters ๐]
~~
The day I went to Indore from Mumbai for a branch visit, I introduced myself to everyone, but there was a girl who seemed quite peculiar to me. She was the first uniquely intriguing girl in my life.
Bro, that girl doesn't like tea, I mean, how can anyone not like tea?
That's what makes her stand out from everyone else.
Well, Rakshit babu, even your ex-girlfriend might have seemed unique, but in the end, she left after causing some trouble.
I ignored that thought that came from within me, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
Later, my mom called and informed me that my sister was coming home with my adorable niece, so I left for there.
Well, in this whole world, I only believe in my family members.
When I was traveling from Indore to Mumbai, that girl kept coming to my thoughts repeatedly.
Her innocent face, lovely eyes, a Greek god-like nose, with a loosely braided purple chicken work kurta, and white palazzo pants complemented by her glasses.
I couldn't get her out of my thoughts, so I called the branch head there and ordered him to transfer that girl to the headquarters within 4 days. I made it clear that she shouldn't face any issues, and if needed, arrange a flight for her.
-----------------------
After attending a meeting , I returned to my apartment, took a warm bath, and went to the kitchen. Opening the refrigerator, I found nothing to eat.
Ugh... I'm Shergill, a billionaire, but there's nothing to eat at home... wow, amazing ๐
So, I thought of going to the nearby mart...
After 5 minutes, I reached there, picked up some spaghetti, and headed to the checkout. That's when I accidentally bumped into someone.
When that girl lifted her head, I was stunned to see her - the one who had just cursed 'The Rakshit Shergill.'
