Chapter 53- Sentenced
Diana's eyes fluttered and finally snapped open and she looked around. She was in a white room and she finally was at peace when she saw her sister Vanessa sitting beside her with her daughter, asleep.
"Diana, you're awake."
She sat up and held her hand out to take her sleeping daughter. She had missed her so much and was glad that nothing bad had happened to her while she was gone.
"What happened?"
"You fell into a deep sleep and mother was scared it was the virus again so she had you rushed here for medical attention but you look fine." Vanessa smiled.
"Where is mother?"
Vanessa remained quiet.
"Today is the hearing of Myles Winchell and Lady Barbara's case so she has gone there."
"Today's the final judgment?" Diana's heart skipped a beat.
