Chapter 3- Escape

I kept my eyes closed as I started to come too. I could hear the warlocks whispering. “Do you think she’s ok?” Said warlock one. “Of course, she is ok she has to be she is the only one who survived and didn’t die.” Said warlock two. “Well yeah, but shouldn’t she be awake by now?” said warlock one. “Let’s just leave her until she wakes up, she must wake up eventually and when she does, we will begin the ritual to take complete control over her. Then we will be able to use her powers to destroy all the humans once and for all.” Said warlock two.

As soon as I heard their footsteps leave, I instantly opened my eyes and started panicking. I knew I had to get out of here somehow. If they can really use some ritual thing to control the power, they had put in me and use it to wipe out all the humans I had to escape this place asap. As much as I wanted this place destroyed and wanted revenge, I still didn’t know the full extent of my powers, hell I didn’t even know how to use my powers if I had any.

It's funny I felt stronger and better than I had since the 6 months of arriving here, but I didn’t particularly feel powerful. I looked around the plain room they had me in, it contained only a single bed I was in and a tall lamp. The first thing I notice is I’m handcuffed to the bedframe, that’s going to be a problem if I want to escape.

I fought against the chain with all my force to find the metal chain snap apart like it was plastic which I’m pretty sure it was pure metal. Looks like perks of my powers this will come in handy if I’m going to escape.

Next, I get up off the bed and creep to the door and slowly peek out the door into a hallway. The hallway was all cement, and the walls were cement. It looks much like the cement cell I was kept in. I crept down the hallway looking for anyone I couldn’t see anyone, so I crept down the hallway looking for an escape.

Too bad this place didn’t have an exit sign, but I suppose that would be too easy. I hear two sets of footsteps coming straight towards me. Dread filled my body as the two burly guards looked dead into my eyes and the realization that I would likely never leave this place hit. Another feeling hit me also, a wave crashed over me of power tingling throughout my body as I wished with every fiber of my being to be anywhere but here. "Hey you stop right...."

Before he could even finish his sentence, a wind swept around me and suddenly I was no longer standing in front of the guards anymore hell I wasn't even in the building anymore. I wished to be somewhere else and suddenly I was I was standing in front of a old mom and pop restaurant feeling confused as to what the hell just happened but also feeling physical and mentally drained. The world started spinning on me and before I fell a nearby guy who I didn't even see caught me from behind before I hit the cement.

"Whoa there are you ok?" he asked as he lifted me up. "Yeah, I'm fine really." I replied. "Are you sure, you don't look so hot." He asked not seeming convinced. "Yeah, really I'm fine I must have just over done my workout today I'll be okay thank you though." I laughed off trying to be a little more convincing, the last thing i wanted was to draw attention to myself right now. "Ok, if you say so." he said not quite seeming fully convinced but not wanting to push any further either. "Just try to take it easy, ok?" he said as he walked away into the restaurant.

What the hell was that? I was so confused, teleported or something literally right before those monsters could grab me and apparently i could break metal shackles so I'm like in-humanly strong. Well one thing's for sure I'm not me anymore and those people will definitely be looking for me I'm a weapon now and they want to use me to destroy all humans somehow, I doubt they are just going to let me go that easily. I'm going to need to learn how to use these abilities and be able to hide until I'm strong enough to take them on and destroy them. First things first I need to get out of the open and find a place to hold up and probably some means of income too.
