Charlotte was sitting opposite Albert with her hands overlapped on her lap while she was looking down with a calm face.
The car moved gently, the water on the side table not moving.
"I'll give you a day to resign and move out of Jason's residence. I guess one day should be enough."
Albert suddenly spoke in a deep and majestic voice. It sounded like he could not allow any refusal.
Charlotte panicked a bit and swallowed nervously. She tried to explain, "There might be a misunderstanding. I'm merely Mr. Jason's secretary. He's determined to marry Ms. Jules."
She knew that Veronica must have said something exaggerating since Albert had personally come to her.
