Charlotte was all business all day, not striking up any more conversation with Jason except when it was about work.
"Charlotte, wait..." Jason looked up to order something.
However, Charlotte had already started to walk out and replied unhurriedly, "I still have to work overtime today, so I'll go down to eat now. If you have any orders, just directly send them to me, Mr. Langley. I'll deal with them after I finish my meal."
Jason glanced at the time, furrowing his brows and questioning, "It's too early to have dinner now."
It was indeed a bit early, but Charlotte just didn't want to share a room with Jason, so she made an excuse.
She supposed that when she came back after eating, Jason and Stacy would go to their appointment. She didn't have to meet Jason, which saved her the trouble.
