Charlotte quickly looked up and shot a glance in Jason's direction.
Was he explaining for not informing her in advance?
The bit of disappointment in her heart that kept troubling her was completely gone. She felt as if there was a clear and open sky in front of her eyes.
Charlotte smiled uncontrollably, but she restrained herself, trying her best to sound businesslike. "Okay."
Not getting the response he expected, Jason narrowed his eyes and reminded her before the elevator door opened, "It's Wednesday."
Charlotte didn't move and stood up straight. Without her deliberately thinking about it, the lustful scenes of the past days filled her head. She got nervous and replied dully, "Okay."
Jason drove the car. Although he looked calm, he kept driving faster than 70 miles per hour.
