Who are you in the dark? Show me the scary parts. ❥ ❦ ❧ P A R K E R It was two in the morning, in a nightclub downtown, where all the lights by the neon signs all trying to emulate each other to stood out, and all the sad souls lined up with a glass of beers, pretending they were enjoying the moment, not releasing the stress. I seemed to be the only one who was forced here by my classmates. The problem with being a psychopath is you don't really feel much when it comes to someone else, yes, I feel sometimes, like the night before with (Y/n), but I don't really give a damn if people are happy or sad. I could've been at home next to her, having dinner, listening to her trying to convince me I don't have to be the bad guy, and let her go, but here I am, faking I love hanging out with my companions. "You're gonna sit there and drink all night?" Ned danced to me, I faked a smile back. "No, Ned. Not in the mood." "When will you be in the mood then! C'mon, man! Grab yo drink and join the dance floor!" He begged. "Na, man. I'm just gonna chill." Ned noticed something was wrong with me, well, actually he always knows something is off about his 'best friend', it's not like I'm that perfect pretending I'm not a psychopath anyway. "See Flash over there?" He sat next to me. I eyed at Flash, trying to flirt desperately on a group of lady, dancing like ants are eating his legs. But actually, I didn't know if what I actually felt with this friend, Flash Thompson, he was kind of annoying, and tried to bully me so many time even when I didn't give a s**t. I won't kill Flash, no reasons too, no good with come from that, at least for now. "At least he's trying." I said. "He chased girls away! I swear to you there's this girl who loves chubby, chubby guy like myself, and she was about to make a move, but Flash took her and now she left him! And me!" "Poor you." I acted like I felt sorry for such little things. "What about you buddy! You've been alone the whole night, I mean, the whole year!" "No, I'm not... interested in anyone." I have (Y/n) Stark. "See those ladies over there?" Ned pointed to the seats next to the bathroom, a couple of girls was sitting with glasses of drinks, talking quietly to themselves, not such a mood for a nightclub. "Which one?" "Brown haired one, she's been looking at you the whole time." "Not right now." I shrugged. "Well, she wants you to make the first move, so go ahead!" "What for?" I asked. "Yeah, what for, Parker? You're not interested in ladies?" Flash joined the conversation out of the blue, completely drunk. "I told you Ned, as the rumors said, he's a virginnnn." "Shut up Flash nobody was talking to you." Ned whined. "PaRkeR's A VIRRRgiN! PaRkeR's A VIRRRgiN!!!" He shouted but in this effervescent and noisy club, nobody gives a f**k. He found out trying to mess with me won't get him any girls so he left, Ned cursed under his breath then asked me. "Are you a virgin, though?" "Not you too, Ned." I laughed, it was actually funny about how normal people giving a s**t if other people ever f**k someone so much. "Are you?" "I've experienced, we've all been, right? We're not in high school no more." I laughed just to froze because Ned stared at a distant. Oh. He is a virgin. "Anyway, about the girl at the bathroom, why'd she look at me for?" I changed the subject. "Well, you're f*****g hot. You could be wearing anything and you'll still look sexy, ya know? Your hair always all over your head but f*****g amazingly gorgeous. And you're handsome, getting a girl should be easy as pie! No homo though man." He told me, didn't know what to think of that. "Okay...? Well, I was just going to say that, that girl, you should get her." "Me? God damn she look like an angel straight from heaven, she wouldn't want me!" He groaned. "Girls loves cute guy, just go say hi, it wouldn't hurt, right?" "You think so?" "I am thinking so." Ned took quite some time to decide and finally he went for it, I watched him said hi to the girls, the girls said hi back, It might actually go well. For a second the girl Ned said was looking at me looked my way, our gazes met, even in this burning light I could see her aqua green eyes. And something... in me woke up for the first time in a while, like meeting an old friend but I've never met her, like seeing one of my kind, like seeing a monster hiding under those skin. But hey, it takes one to know one, right? ☆ ✮ ✯ R O G E R S Steve Rogers was all by himself in front of the great resident of Tony Stark, it was raining and he wasn't sure if he should knock. Bucky told him he shouldn't be here, it's not appropriate, but he did anyway. Three knocks, but perhaps it was not loud enough. He knocked three more, louder. Tony Stark was maybe not even home, or really drunk and passed out somewhere in some room, he sighed, long way for nothing, he was about to turn away when the door opened. "The f**k?" Tony Stark said. He looked at Tony Stark and the man looked completely different from weeks before, he was a mess, drunk, hair all over his head, covered in the smell of boozes. "Ugh... Hello, Steve Rogers, in case you forgot." He reached out to shake hand. "You found my daughter?" He asked. "Uh... no, but I came to--" "The get the f**k back to work!" He was about to slam the door shut when Steve used his hand to hold back the door. "Please, I need to talk. I know I did a very bad first impression, your daughter was taken, it was my fault for talking to you like that." "I don't give a f**k. All you have to do, is get her back." "We got some information, Agent Barns doesn't want me to tell you but I think you deserve to know." "..." "..." Ten minutes later Rogers found himself inside the living room, the fireplace was great for him to warm up from the rain, Stark was gone for a while and returned with a bottle of wine. "You're alright, Mr. Stark?" "My daughter was kidnapped by a serial killer, how do you think I am?" "Sorry... that was a stupid question. I have good news and bad news for you." "I only want the good one." "I'm sorry but it comes as a package." Steve sighed. "Agent James told you about the prototype yet?" "Which James?" "Ugh... James Buchanan Barns." "Oh. Bucky Barns. Yeah, he told me, it didn't make me feel better." Tony Stark wrapped a towel over himself, coffee cup his hand was instead filled up with alcohol. "I think there's a chance that she's still alive." "You think?" He whispered. "If he wanted to kill her, she'd already be dead, we would have found her body." "He killed again, didn't he? Heard it from the news..." He muttered, Tony Stark was too drunk to be throwing tantrums. "It wasn't him. We found a note from a copycat." "Great, now he inspired others to f*****g murder people." "I'll know who he is." "For all I know, it could be anyone, FBI has no proof, no evidence, no link, no suspects, it might be you. Are you the Spider?" Tony Stark asked Steve Rogers, then they stared at each other intensely. "I would never kill innocent girls." "It could be Barns... what if it's Barns?" Tony said, as if he was talking to himself. "Mr. Stark, I know you are very wealthy and influential, I want to know if you will take the case in your own hands." "Like if I find out who he is will I kill him?" "Yes." "It's ironic, coming from you," Tony said out just to have in instant regret, seeing Steve froze. "Ugh... f**k. Sorry. He killed your family, so you killed him off right? The Hydra?" Steve tried not to let the past haunts him, he buried the picture of his wife back to his deepest part and focused on the Stark family that he could help. "That's why I'm here... to tell you I'm on your side, and as a personally experienced man, I don't think dealing with this kind of people like the FBI think is right." "How will the FBI deal with him?" "Mental hospital." He shrugged. "Why should a monster have a bed to sleep, or food to eat, after a m******e?" "I agree..." Tony Stark muttered. "If the time comes and we have a chance, The Spider won't end up in any mental hospital or behind bars, but dead, are we clear Mr. Stark." He said softly. "You want to kill him?" "Yes, If we find out who he is, I don't care how the feds want to do with him, he needs to pay, are we clear, Stark?" He looked intensely into the other one's eyes. "We are clear." The other one whispered back. In that night, the two broken-hearted people made a promise in front of the fireplace, to one day will take the law into their own hands and kill Peter Parker.
