Chapter 20

One Week Later

I walked in the hallways alone until I saw a bar of chocolate on the ground. I looked around and nobody catch it.

It's Wednesday and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday I dont have breakfast or lunch to keep my weight because I dont want to gain it anymore. So I just eat a bar of chocolate and then have dinner.

I kneel down on my knees while holding my file book to get that chocolate but suddenly the chocolate moves.

Oh well someone is trying to play along with me. I keep trying to get that chocolate but it seems like that chocolate want to bring me to a place.

I keep following where does this chocolate go until it that bar of chocolate turned left and about to entered a class.

I jump to get that chocolate until my body laying flat on the ground and entered an empty classroom and I got my chocolate. "Got ya!" I shouts.

"You never change, that was so easy to fishing you to come here haha." A husky familiar voice.

I turned my face and Rafael is sitting on a table and chuckled about what I did.

"Rafael? What are you doing here?" I frowned at him.

"I know you skipped your breakfast and lunch today so here is your drink." He gave a glass of milk.

"But what are you doing here?" I frowned at him.

"Got one week off so I went here to meet you and my mates. How are you? Seems like still doesnt change, still like a baby girl." Rafael chuckled.

"I'm fine. Thanks for the chocolate and this milk." I smiled at him.

"I dont see your Puckerman around here. Where is he?"

"Puck went to New York to meet his daughter until next week." I simply said to him.

"So he left you? You know when I dated you, I never left you right?"

"If you came here only for teasing me, you better back off." I glared at him.

"E, I came here because I miss you and I really wanna meet you." Rafael hold my hand.

"You already see me. Thank you for this." I simply said and pushed his hand away then walked off.

I went out from the science classroom and about to walked to my locker to place my chocolate for the next period.

I shut my locker and went off to my next class. It's one week until Puck go back to Lima.

"Finn Hudson! How much I've told you dont leave your pants on the bathroom!" I yelled.

"Ups forget honey." Finn giggled and take his pants from the bathroom.

Me and Finn shared a room and bathroom now. The wall in between our room has been collapse, not really collapse. Burt did that since neither me nor Finn want to shared a room with Kurt. So two rooms is divided into three rooms. And our room is separated with a wall to Kurt's room.

I know this is kinda rude but this is my house and neither me nor Finn doesnt want to have any changes here so the guest must be patient for that.

And everynight I have to listen Finn's conversation with Rachel everynight or he has to listen mine and Puck on the phone.

"E, I'm thinking about what are we gonna do after we graduate." Finn said as he lay his body on his bed.

"What University you wanna join?" I asked Finn from my bed.

"I dont want to enter University, I want to joined army just like dad."

I turned my face at him and he really mean what he just said. "Thats wonderful, Finn."

"Then what about you?" Finn asked me.

"I will enter UC LA and hope that I will get scholarship there from my cheerleader scholarship."

"I'm tired to study and I think that study in university is only for a people like doctor or teacher." Finn said.

"You're as smart as them, Finn." I said as I reach his hand.

"It sucks that Rachel and I cant have a make out here." Finn said to me.

"Me either." I said to Finn and pulled something from my bag until I saw a Math paper with D- on the ground.

"You got D-?" I take the paper and frowned at Finn.

"Only once." Finn giggled.

"Finn, you have to graduate this year." I sit on the edge of his bed.

"But with that score I'm not sure." Finn said hopelessly.

"I will help you, I can be your tutor and we have to graduate together. Remember that we want to make mom proud right?" I smiled at him.

"I dont know my life would be without you." Finn hugged me from behind.

"Finn, you left your money in your pocket." Mom said as she entered our room and bring a basket of clean clothes.

"Seems like you both have a serious talk." Mom raised her eyebrows.

"Hehe nope." I giggled and hide that paper behind my back quickly.

"What did you hide, honey?" Mom asked me.

"I-its nothing, mom." I giggled.

"Emily Finn we already promise not to hide anything in between us right?" Mom raised her eyebrows.

Me and Finn just being quiet at each other. We dont know how to explain this.

"Guys?" Mom called us.

"It is just my Math score, I got D- but Emily promise that she will help me and being my tutor." Finn said nervously and give that paper to mom.

"Yes I want Finn make his dream come true and join army." I said.

"You want to join army, Finn?" Mom asked.

"Yes, I want to be like that who has his own weapon with him." Finn said to mom.

"You have to join formal university not army, Finn." Mom simply said and went off from our room.

"But why? I dont want to study in formal university because I know that I'm not smart. Beside I want to be like dad, mom. Just it." Finn said as we went out from our room to follow mom.

"I dont want to lose you, Finn. Losing your father already made me wanna die, Finn and now I dont want to lose one of you." Mom said as she turned her face not facing us.

"Mom, Finn can take care himself. He is a man and join army is his dream." I said to him.

"Oh Christopher what shall I do to make them understand?" Mom tears fall down as she talk to dad's old photo.

"Hold on what happened here? You made your mom cried?" Burt went out from his room with Kurt.

"Mom please just let me, I wont die like him and leave your and Emily." Finn begged.

"You dont understand, Finn! Both of you dont understand that your dad isnt die because of army!" Mom shouts as she sat down on the couch.

Tears slowly fall down to my face. Mom always said that dad died in army and we always believe that because we found many army things on the basement.

"You never tell us. You always said that he died in army." Finn shake his head as he tried to hide his tears.

"I think its the right time to tell you guys. I'm tired to hold this alone and hide it. I feel guilty to hide this to both of you." Mom cried.

"Mom?" I sit down in front of her as the tears still fall down.

"Your dad wasnt die in army. He died one month after his army, he died because drug overdose." Mom cried and hold my hand.

"Seriously?" Finn frowned.

"Thats why I dont want you to join army, Finn. I'm afraid that you will get the same things and I dont want to lose any of you. You both are my life." Mom said as she hugged me.

Finn come to us and hugged us with his sad face. Mom kissed our top head one by one. We pulled our hugged each other and I wipe my mom tears.

"But why you hide it from us?" Finn asked.

"Because I dont want you guys know that your dad left us in not a cool way. Thats the reason why I brough you both to Lima and moved from Vancouver." Mom said to us.

"I really want to join army, mom. I promise you, I wont get in a trouble like dad did. I wont do stupid things like that." Finn hold mom's hand.

"And I will make sure he will graduate this year with me and I will help him being his tutor." I smiled at mom.

"I believe you wont do stupid things like that, Finn." Mom cups Finn's cheeck.

"Its impossible for him to get drugs, he even never drunk before." I rolled my eyes.

"I believe that both of you are a good kids." Mom smiled at us.

"I love you twins, dont leave me like your dad did." Mom hugged us.

"We love you too, mom. And we promised that we wont leave you." Finn said as mom still hugged us.

I sat down alone in bleachers waiting for Finn with his football practice. Since Puck went to New York, I go home with Finn like everyday.

"Sweet sister who is waiting for his brother." A voice shocked me.

I turned my face at the person. "Hey Mr. Schue." I smiled at him.

"Waiting for Finn right? You both look closer these days." Mr. Schue chuckled.

"Because since the holiday we shared room and bathroom now. Me and Finn has the same room and Kurt has his own room since both of us doesnt want to be separated." I chuckled.

"Twins never want to be separated, Emily. I know that because I have a twin cousin like you and Finn."

"I promised to my mom that I will help Finn with his grade so he will graduate this year with me." I smiled at me.

"Thats a good start." Mr. Schue strokes my hair.

I just giggled when Mr. Schue strokes my hair. Is this what a father usually did to his daughter? I dont know but maybe yes.

"Mr. Schue thank you so much."

"For what?" He asked me.

"You make me feel like I have a father. You taught Finn how to be a better man. We were crying last night because our mom told us that our father died because of overdose drugs not in army but after that mom let Finn to join army." I turned my face at him.

"Glad to heard that." Mr. Schue smiled at me.

"Yeah I'm trying to get my cheerleader scholarships for the next nationals." I chuckled.

"Hey Mr. Schue." Finn interupts us.

"Alright since Finn already here. I have to talk with coach Beiste. See you guys." Mr. Schue said and walked to the hall.

"Come on, lets go home. I'm hungry." Finn said to me and take his bagpack.

"Looked at that freshman guy, he is crazy." Finn pointed at a guy.

"He seems cute." I chuckled.

"He is freshman and you're senior here." Finn rolled his eyes.

"I know and I just said that he is cute. I miss Puck." I sighed.

"He might be sleep with New York girl right now." Finn laughed.

"Finn Hudsonnnnnn!!!!" I groaned.

"Haha just kidding, Puck loves you like really. He dates you for love not for s*x or popularity like he used to be." Finn said as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"You're so smelly, Finn." I rolled my eyes.

"But you loved me." Finn chuckled.

"Ewww lets go home and study!" I shouts and walked lead him.
