Chapter 28

Me and Kurt spending Saturday night by watching TV show together in living room. Finn, mom and Burt went out to have a dinner with Rachel's dads since they found about Finn and Rachel engagement.

"Should I give up or should I keep chasing pavements?" I'm singing as I walked to my room.

"You already finish the song that Mr. Schue told us?" Kurt asked me and follow me to my room.

"Yes. You wanna see? Here." I take my music sheets out from my bag and give it to Kurt.

"This is cool, E." Kurt said while he reading for my song.

"We need five person to sing that song actually." I said to Kurt.

"You, Puck, Finn, Rachel and Mercedes can do this." Kurt said to me.

"Not Puck, we need a guy with Katy Perry's voice in this song, it could be Sam or Blaine." I said to Kurt.

"Blaine and Sam would be good." Kurt nodded.

"You dont realize that you're such an amazing, talented, smart person, Emily." Kurt smiled at me.

"I finally found out that write a song is my talent. I found something inside me on this senior year, Kurt." I smiled back at Kurt.

"I'm so proud of you, dear. Thanks for safe Blaine for me." Kurt said to me.

"You're welcome. Well, it almost midnight. I want to go to sleep. Good night, Kurt." I lay my body on my bed and pulled my blanket.

"Good night." Kurt said.

Glee Club

"Mr. Schue this is the original song that you've been asked about." I give my music sheets to Mr. Schue as he walked in.

He read my music sheets and then turned his face at me. "This is cool, Emily! Wow!" He smiled at me.

"I finally found myself that write a song is my hidden talent." I chuckled.

"Thats good one. Thank you, Emily." Mr. Schue smiled at me.

I smiled back at him and go back to my seat.

"Guys! Emily wrote a song and we can use this for our setlist." Mr. Schue said to the others.

"Is it a song about Superhero?" Sam asked.

"Its a song about how different we are and we are so proud with that." I said to them.

"There will be five people who sang that song."

Mr. Schue gave the copies to the others to read that song.

"This is cool, Emily." Mercedes said to me.

"Thank you." I smiled at her.

"Alright this song will be the last song we will sing for Nationals. First we will have Rachel to have solo, second we will have original song that I wrote and third we will sing this song." Mr. Schue said to us.

"No Mr. Schue. Senior year, I finally realize that I dont need more solo. I should give a chance to someone because someone told me thay we dont live for a competition but we lived for happiness." Rachel said as she smiled at me.

"Rachel really said that? Wow." Puck said.

"And since I'm and Finn are officially engaged. So I want Emily to take my place to have solo for Nationals." Rachel said as she is standing in the front with Finn and smiling at me.

"Seriously?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Yes." Rachel nodded.

"What song am I gonna sing?" I asked.

"Chasing Pavements by Adele. You sang that song thousand times and you always told me like 'this is really my song, Kurt' like that." Kurt suddenly.

"Alright guys, Emily will have solo by sing Chasing Pavements. Then we will song Light Up The World with a solo from Artie, Santana, Brittany, Finn and Rachel. For the last song, Emily can choose who will sing that song with her." Mr. Schue said.

"Since this song is consist of five people. I want Blaine, Mercedes, Sam and Rachel sing with me." I smiled to them.

"Sure!" They said together.

"Lets start the rehearsal!" Mr. Schue said excitedly.

We are cheering together and start practicing for our songs and choreography.

"God, I want this year to be the best year in my life. I already won the cheerleading Nationals championship and I have to win the national show choir championship and graduate also get into UC LA. Amen." I said as I sit down in the front row of church.

This is my secret place. Nobody knows that I went to church every Tuesday and Sunday to pray and tell God everything I wanted.

I take my bagpack because I have to back to McKinley before the others realize that I'm gone.

"I saw you every Tuesday and Sunday secretly pray here." A voice shocked me.

I turned my face and a guy with long hair is smiling at me.

"Hey." I greeted him.

"You must be a student of William Mckinley High's right?" He asked.

"Yes, you can guess that from my cheerio uniform. And you?" I asked him back.

"I'm homeschooling. I'm Joe Hart and you?" He showed me a hand to shake.

"Emily Hudson." I shake his hand.

We then walked to out from the church. It's not really far from McKinley actually. I have to go back to McKinley before lunch.

"By the way, if you need someone to sing a song as Valentine Messages, you can come here and call me." Joe said.

"You can sing? Why dont you enter formal school and you can join the glee club. Its same like show choir in church." I said to him.

"I'll try to move on the second semester." He smiled at me.

"Great! I have to back to McKinley before the others realize that I'm gone. See you!" I wave him a goodbye and run away to back to McKinley.

I came in the right time. The bell just rings and it's time for the lunch. Thank God, you always make my dream come true.

"Where have you been?" Puck stopped me.

"I have a class." I rolled my eyes.

"I miss you, baby." Puck said to me.

"We just met this morning, Puck." I take his hand.

"But I haven't hangin around in your lips yet." Puck smirked at me.

He pushed his face closer to me and kissed me. I kissed him back and smirked at him after we pulled our lips each other.

"You're beautiful." Puck smirked at me.

"You said that everyday, Puckerman." I rolled my eyes.

"But seriously." Puck smiled at me.

"What do you want?" I raised my eyebrows.

"My place after school?"

"I know what will happen next. Well, sure." I smiled at him.

"You really know what I want, baby." Puck smirked.

"Because I know what inside this mohawk." I simply said and walked off.

Puck followed me as he put his arm around my waist as we walked together to cafetaria together. I'm so hungry and really wanna have lunch right now.

"I dont see you in class. Where have you been, E?" Santana asked me.

"I went to class." I said nervously.

"Dont lie to me. We supposed to be in the same class together." Santana raised her eyebrows.

"Well..." I said.

"Well?" The others turned their face at me.

"Guys The Warbler been disqualified from Nationals because they hurt Blaine!" Sam suddenly walked in.

I sighed. Finally someone save my life so I dont have to tell them about what am I doing this morning.

"But we will face Vocal Adrenaline with a lead from Wade Adams. He has a high voice." Kurt said.

"He is also obsessed to be a transgender. Sue told me, if we want to win we have to force him to wear hells." Mercedes said in whisper.

"Dont do that, it's called cheating. We can win this with our talents." I said to them.

"Yeah thats right." Quinn nodded.

"Umm sorry." A guy voice interupts us.

"Who are you?" Santana asked a guy who standing behind me.

I turned my face and Joe looked confused and bring my papercase.

"Joe? What are you doing here?" I raised my eyebrows.

"You left this and I remember that you went back to your school so I decided to come here." Joe said innocently.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

"Well guys, he is Joe Hart. He sing as a Valentine Message, so if you guys wanna send a valentine song, you can ask him and he will do that." I introduce him to the others.

"And since we are closer to Christmas, I also accept a song for christmas message. I live near this school, or you can come to a church near here and you guys can find me." Joe said to the others.

"You're not a student of McKinley?" Kurt frowned.

"I'm homeschooling but I will transfer here next semester. Well see you guys!" Joe waves us a good bye and walked off.

"He is cute." Quinn said.

"So where have you been, Emily?" Finn asked me.

"Church to pray and I met him. I usually saw him in the church to sing with his church show choir. And this morning we talked." I said nervously.

"Emily Hudson went to church? Really? Not you." Finn shakes his head.

"I secretly went to church every Tuesday and Sunday to pray." I said shyly.

"Thats cool." Rory said.

I giggled about what Rory said to me. Puck turned his face at me and frowned. I just give him a shyly smiled and go back eating my lunch.

Glee Club

Today we will have reharsal in auditorium. We already here but Mr. Schue isnt coming yet. We need someone to tutor us.

I'm sitting in front of the piano with Mercedes, Sam and Blaine are standing around me. The band isnt coming yet just like Mr. Schue.

"Emily can you teach us how to write a song like you?" Blaine asked me.

"Yeah that sound interesting since many people write a song about their love things but you came out with an amazing lyrics." Mercedes said.

"It came from my mind. Suddenly just come. And now there is a song that stuck in my mind but I dont know what is that. You guys wanna try to complete the song?" I asked them.

"What was the song about?" Sam asked.

"How much friends like you guys mean to me." I smiled at them.

"Sounds interesting. Lets try it." Blaine said.

Mercedes and Sam just smiled each other and nodded. I start playing the piano to find a right tone for this song.

"But she has a mess boyfriend." Santana rolled her eyes.

"True love came from true hate.." I said to them.

"Guys sorry, I'm late. Lets go back to have rehearsal. From the top!" Mr. Schue said to us.

We nodded and start the choreography from the top.
