“Kristobel, over here. Come on, let’s get going then. At last, we would be able to move out once everyone clears the whole building. You didn’t bring anything along with you back to Safehaven, Kristobel? Did you do all the laundry upstairs then? Well, at least we have less luggage to think of and let’s head to our next destination, alright? Gecko, please ensure the monitors have checked the rooms and no one is left behind in the dormitories. They would not starve to death if we happen to lock this place up, right? Hahaha... There’s plenty of food in the pantry to last them for weeks…!”

What Priestess Windtalker had said was true. There was so much food in the pantry that there is no need for anyone to go hungry. There’s lots of food in the cooling boxes that contained fresh milk, cheese, butter, bread and more bread. There’s also a food cabinet and inside there are tins of biscuits and cakes. There’s a place to heat up the food and its constantly being heated without using any wood or charcoal…! This is the first time I saw such contraption and I wondered if I do remember seeing these type of cooling or heating wicker cabinets at all when I sneaked into homes to ‘harvest’ some valuables…

“Wait a goddamned minute…” I thought to myself as I had a presumption that I have paired off with Vivian the Vomit because I can sneak into houses, bring Vivian in with me and she will suck all the valuables and then we can walk out after the deed had been performed…!!! That was it, it was all pre-planned by everyone here in the Academy, including the so-called Majesty and the twins…!!! It was all an act…just to make me believe that all around me are good-doers…!!! U U R R G G H H…!!!

“Kristobel… What are you thinking about? How come you are gnashing your teeth as if you are angry at something or someone? Is there anything you need to ask me or tell me? Did anyone made you upset or tries to bully you or something?”

I was too angry for words as there are no words that could explain what was going on in my head at this point of time…!!! What I could think right now was how these people were scheming along with me so that they would be able to take advantage of my thievery skills…

“Hahaha…This little girl is thinking too much. I wondered how come she has these kinds of thoughts in her head since Gecko is her and she had shown this little girl her special abilities. Isn't it more than enough? Even if we rob every single person here in Arkandale, I do not think it would even be able to feed all the 200 plus students here, don’t you think so, Kristobel?”

I heard my name being mentioned as clear as crystal and I spun around to see the one who dares to talk about robbing people here in Arkandale. What I met was a pair of blue and green… eyes? Eh…? And it came from a man around the age of 21 or 22 years old. How come the eyes are so funny? He got a blue eye on the left and a red one on the other. The one that caught me speechless was his sharp jaws and lastly his tender face. He looked very fair as if he had not seen the sun much and was kept in a darkened room all his life…!

“Hey Matthias, you had scanned the whole building and no one else is around, right? By the way, Kristobel, meet Priest Matthias. He would be the one attending to you on Monday morning for the procedures that I was talking about. Matthias… Meet your new participant.” Priestess Windtalker introduced me to Priest Matthias and I am not sure if I wanted to shake hands with this guy with weird kind of eyes.

“It’s alright if you won't shake hands with me but I will tell you this, you will be shaking them later on in the future as a sign of appreciation. Hehehe. About the eyes, its called heterochromia. Its not a disease but it’s a speciality. Besides, I can read your mind even without voicing it out. I am more than a mind reader. You can call me a Mind Manipulator. I have more than 3 special skills that are related to Mind Manipulator. I could even do Mental Sedation to everyone here and get them to sleep if it is already late and some of the students are still up and about.”

“So, this Monday, you would be my participant, eh? I would be able to probe your mind and do all kinds of stuff. Don’t worry, I would have someone with me to ensure that nothing goes wrong.” Priest Matthias casually spoke to me since he had read my mind about being paired up with Vivian and to suck up all the valuables in houses that we would rob in broad daylight.

“One more thing about Our Majesty, he is a true territorial King and would go to great lengths himself to get everyone out of harm’s way. Feel free to talk to Grandpa Jack or Grandma Kayla. They had been around Our Majesty ever since he lost his parents and younger sister when the rebels siege their manor back in Darlington. Believe me, I tell no lies and there’s nothing to gain if I tell any lies.” Priest Matthias had once again probed and read my mind and there’s no other way for me to block him from invading my thoughts. U U R R G G H H…!!! I felt so violated right now…!!!

“Well, well, well… It seems that Matthias has already met with his patient due on Monday. Opps… I meant participant. Everything is clear on the other Wing, Mystic. Everything is in order and I guess Matthias reported the same as well. Hello, there Kristobel. We haven’t actually met and introduced before, right? My name is Luna, and I am a Levitator and uses Telekinesis to manipulate the environment to fly to anywhere I want to go. By the way, there is another Wi…I mean Priestess that also manipulates gravity and makes things light and manageable but is unable to levitate like me. It looks pretty neat, right? I don’t even need to wait for a carriage to go home. Alright guys, see you on Sunday night. I’m off and would be on the ground in the eyes of the public… Hehehe…!”

Just like that, Luna somersaulted in the air while being levitated and then she rushed out of the building but then drop down t earth as she approached the gated main entrance and walked as a normal person does. I guess she is one of the Priestess as well since I noticed that she was mentioning something to Priestess Windtalker and addressing her by the first name.

“Well, you met some of my members here that you had not seen before. Wait till all the 200 plus students graduate and they would be pairing off with one another to run another Academy like this…!” Priestess Windtalker announced to me and I wondered how many Academy that housed and educate these people with special abilities.

“Just one, Kristobel. This building is the original setup and we had one of our Senior Priest that made this whole structure by scratch. Another Senior Priest handled the plumbing while Senior Priestess Penelope took care of the landscaping around here.” Once again Priest Matthias was reading my mind and I wished that he stops doing that because it is creeping me out…!

“No can do, Kristobel. Well, I am off now. I am afraid that my presence here is creeping Kristobel up. Cheerio, see you all on Sunday night then. Have a great weekend, everyone…” With that he bowed slightly to me and left the main building.

“Hahahaha. Priest Matthias can't help it but reads everyone’s mind here. Later on Monday, there would be other students that had the same traits as Priest Matthias that would be attending the special induction program. Don’t worry. It would hurt you but will benefit everyone here. But he cannot do this procedure on normal people because it will drive them crazy as……….”

Priestess Windtalker was explaining the procedures to me and the more I listened the more I got confused and I lost track of what I was supposed to think or do.

Within a few moments, Priestess Windtalker and I were walking the grounds towards the car while Gecko closed the main door and rode a metal horse. It was called a Dandy Horse and it had a small kind of whirling mechanism in the centre of it and I saw Gecko riding it without her feet on the ground once…!

WOW…!!! I want one of those if I am allowed to have one and learn to ride as well. It would look neat riding that and going to Safehaven and back anytime I need to.
