The new instructions sent from Capt. Kulacz to the navigation computer aboard the RQ-4 Global Hawk at 20,000 feet over the Palau Islands put the UAV into a tight left-hand turn about ten miles southeast of Peleliu. Radar returns from the last scan over the island of Angaur indicated a target matching the profile in the onboard reference file was located about twelve miles due west of the landmass on a heading of 270 degrees magnetic.
