Bayer fumbled in a coat pocket and came out with two small computer thumb-drives. “The one marked Alpha is an encryption/decryption program. You’ll need it to read the one marked Bravo. That’s the entire intel dump. You’ve got a computer, right?”
“I’ve got one…but I’m still not sure where to fix the bayonet on the damn thing.”
“Once you’ve downloaded Alpha, destroy the drive. That leaves you with an encrypted shield on your machine that can’t be accessed without your password or the correct prompt from another machine with the same program. It includes an email program. We’ll communicate that way while you’re in the field.” Bayer nodded, picked up his gear and walked out of the room.
