Chapter 5: The Demon King's Demise

Lu Tong took his battle stance once more. Boom! He dashed towards the demon king as he sat on the throne, however, who was a king without servants. Before he could reach the king, demons gathered in front, protecting their king.

"Ice spikes!" Lu Tong shouted as he made kunai-shaped ice knives and sent them towards the demons from front to back. Though some were rendered useless, others received a fatal blow. Some were heavily injured while others were eliminated.

As an initial fighter stage warrior with ice spark, Lu Tong's Spark allowed him to harness basic ice-element powers. His ice knives were a manifestation of his Spark's capabilities. The ice knives sliced through the demons, dealing varying amounts of damage.

Lu Tong moved swiftly, striking the injured and fighting the strong. He unleashed a Frostbite Edge, encasing his dagger in a layer of frost, dealing additional damage to the demons. A demon threw an open palm, trying to smash Lu Tong to the ground, but he dodged, held, froze, and broke it down, and finished it off with a swift kick.

Another demon's palm was a formidable attack, but Lu Tong's agility and quick reflexes allowed him to evade and counter. He used his Spark to freeze the demon's arm, rendering it brittle, and then delivered a crushing kick that shattered the frozen limb.

Lu Tong took his battle stance once more. Boom! He dashed towards the demon king's domain. However, he was met with three strong generals, each with their own unique abilities.

The first general, a towering figure with razor-sharp claws, sneered at Lu Tong. "You think you can defeat us? We'll crush you!"

Lu Tong charged forward, unleashing a Frostbite Edge, encasing his dagger in a layer of frost. The general swung his claws, but Lu Tong dodged and countered with a Cryo Step, freezing the general's legs.

The second general, a swift and agile warrior, launched a barrage of swift kicks. Lu Tong blocked and countered with a Glacial Shield, protecting himself from the attacks. He then retaliated with an Arctic Burst, unleashing a wave of icy energy that sent the general stumbling back.

The third general, a massive brute with incredible strength, smashed his fist into the ground, creating a shockwave. Lu Tong jumped over the attack, using his Spark to enhance his agility. He then landed a hit with his icy dagger, followed by a Crystal Cage, encasing the general in a cage of ice.

Lu Tong fought the three generals for what felt like hours, using every trick in his arsenal to take them down. He unleashed a Blizzard Blast, a powerful blast of icy energy that sent the generals stumbling back. He also used his Ice Lance, striking the generals with precise and deadly accuracy.

Despite his best efforts, Lu Tong was battered and bruised, his energy depleted. But he refused to give up, driven by his determination to defeat the demon king.

Lu Tong then used his defensive moves, Glacial Shield and Crystal Cage, to protect himself and trap the generals. He unleashed a Stormy Blizzard, a powerful storm of ice and snow that surrounded the generals. The generals swung their weapons, but Lu Tong dodged and weaved, using his agility to avoid the attacks.

After what seemed like an eternity, the three generals fell to the ground, defeated. Lu Tong stood over them, his chest heaving with exhaustion.

Finally, he faced the demon king himself. The demon king gave a horrific smile, then jumped with the aim of smashing the young warrior. Lu Tong slightly rolled over, slicing the demon king's triceps with an Ice Dagger, having no effect. The demon king smacked Lu Tong away, though he blocked with an Glacial shield; he still flew away, wrecking a burning house.

"I won't just give up!" Lu Tong said as he staggered back to his feet. At this point, Lu Tong was badly injured, and the fire affected his spark negatively. Lu Tong used all his energy and emptied his reserves to harden his dagger permanently and took a chain from a demon's body to connect it to the dagger.

With his dagger now reinforced, Lu Tong was ready to face the demon king once more. He dashed to the back of the demon king and up to its neck. Then Lu Tong stabbed its neck with the icy dagger and used his Spark to create huge spikes through the demon king's neck, bursting it. He followed up with an Arctic Burst, unleashing a wave of icy energy that further damaged the demon king.

After defeating the demon king, Lu Tong walked to the body and picked up his dagger and wooden bag, which was close to the door. Then he journeyed further as a door at the other side opened.

"All the battles I've faced has made me stronger and more experienced in battles, it seems like the effort is worth it" Lu Tong said as he evaluated his strength.

After five days of walking, Lu Tong reached another door, but before he entered, he rested for a day to regain his strength and MP completely. The following day, Lu Tong entered the door, and as he entered, the torches lit up all around, covering the entire place. Though he saw the door at the other side, a knight in black armor came to the exit door, blocking it.

The knight had a broad sword and a deadly motive. His sonic boom resounded as the knight ran towards Lu Tong, leaving after-images. His lash came at Lu Tong, but he blocked with his dagger, which sent him flying far away.

"s**t!" Lu Tong exclaimed "He's so...". The knight's attack was incredibly fast, and Lu Tong struggled to keep up. Before he completed his statement, the knight's sonic boom resounded again, but this time around the knight fixed his sword in the ground.

The knight reached Lu Tong with a massive punch, sending him to the wall. A warm liquid came up Lu Tong's throat, and out of his mouth was blood. The knight immediately came to Lu Tong, grabbed his head, and ran with him around, pressing his head against the wall. Lu Tong's eyes were bloodied and slowly closed as he completed his statement.

"Fast..."
