"I've always been leery of marriage, sir." Jonah sat in the chair across from Apollo. "I have. Always seems to cause more trouble than it's worth."
"You have only experienced marriage in the mortal realm, son. A marriage of souls is a completely different undertaking."
"I understand that it is different." Jonah clasped his hands together. "But there is still the fact that I will pass into Spirit. I'm thirty-four years old. If I'm lucky, I have another good fifty years before I have to say goodbye to Eva."
