Jonah looked around after he'd taken down another monster.
Spader severed one's spine before glancing his way. "Dude, where the Hell is Typhon?" he demanded. "I thought that was who we came to help Eva fight!"
"Typhon is the father of monsters, Spader," Reena reminded him. "Surely you realized that monsters would precede his rise, right?"
Jonah braced himself and shook filth off his new batons as reptilian creatures crawled into the world. "Dracanae, I think," he said. "We need to get over there—"
