TEN EVA MCRAYNE It took another hour of walking to get back to the car. Just long enough for me to want to strangle Joey and throw him in the ocean if he sang the Gilligan’s Island theme song one more time. “Joey.” I dropped down in the car and pulled my new phone out of the glove box. Apollo had gotten it to me right before we left for the ruins the night before, thank Olympus. “Can you turn the radio on, please?” “Why?” He opened the back door to put his camera in its bag. “You don’t like my singing?” “No. It’s not your talent.” I tapped the screen and pulled up my messages. Two texts from my personal assistant. Three from Connor. A sweet text from Jonah, wishing me the best on location. I replied with a quick summary of what we found then promised to call him as soon as I could. N
