Elena's POV
Maybe it was a bad idea thinking I could handle it all alone. I decided it was best that I involved Vera and let her know I had something right behind me.
"Vera." I called out but even i knew that it was impossible to get her to hear me because my voice was so low like a whisper. My heart racing suddenly increased and I could feel that it was at the verge of jumping out of my chest.
When I figured it was impossible for Vera to hear me out loud, I stopped and waited. I knew I couldn't fight because I was wolfless and had no power of my own. So, I picked up my own techniques of bending to the ground as if I had something stuck underneath my feet. I also observed at that moment that the wolf right behind me stopped too.
