Elena's POV
I swallowed hard, the saliva suddenly burning my throat when the voices in my head played out who it could be with the authoritative voice that had caysee a choking silence.
If it was him, was he out here to save me? Or, was he going to punish me even harder?
Now, I had my heart beating faster in fear and fright. He had stopped them from hitting me but then, it didn't look like he had come out to save me.
"Babe, you're not supposed to be out here. The healer is still on her way." I recognized that voice to be that of Olivia.
“I said to loosen her. Now." He ordered.
